Hotel Zlatni bor

We spent two nights at Hotel Zlatni Bor as part of our road trip through Montenegro, and it was a very pleasant stay. The room was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable, with excellent conditions and a cosy atmosphere. The hotel has a lovely rustic character that fits perfectly with the surrounding mountain landscape, and the views add even more to the experience. The location is excellent for exploring the Durmitor region and enjoying the many outdoor activities available nearby. We went rafting, visited Black Lake (Crno Jezero) and explored Durmitor National Park. It is very easy to find activities for all levels of experience and adrenaline, from relaxing walks to more adventurous experiences, like the rafting we did. Safe and suitable for families, or groups of friends. The whole area felt very safe, peaceful and welcoming, and the hotel had a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The staff were helpful and welcoming, and the food and overall services were very good. A great place to stay for anyone looking to enjoy nature, adventure and the beautiful mountain scenery of the Durmitor region, especially with such beautiful views, like the one we had from our bedroom window.

A typical mountain hotel with excellent, functional facilities; the owner was very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again. It offers excellent value for money.

Location is good. Hotel rooms clean

Staff is rude. They do not understand English. Asked for croissants on free breakfast but they said they dont have it. Once I pressed more, they immediately got it

Bedroom & shower room lovely - felt brand new

The breakfast was not good, nothing replenished, flies on the food. No coffee offered to us & all water/juice run out & the hygiene from the women at breakfast poor as one was picking her nose then serving tables.
