It’s probably one of the most thoughtfully arranged properties I have ever seen. It literally has everything you need. The fridge is stuffed with foods and drinks. The views from the back are jaw dropping. Marjan was a great host and we enjoyed our talks greatly. We had a great time!

Very welcoming property

owners were very very generous leaving lots of food and drink for us to enjoy. We appreciated it. we loved that we could walk to Oprtalj even if it was a bit far

Home like feel. All is perfect. Attention is to every little detail. Everything there, even food in the fridge and cookies.. Terrace is super. View and mountains around looks great!. Location is unique.! MOTOVUN view is superb. Jazz festival was absolutely phenomenal there.

Very beautiful and peaceful location, clean and well equipped apartment with astonishing view from terrace. Helpful and warm welcoming host Mirjan. We were pleasantly surprised with food in fridge that owner prepared for us. We would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for relaxation.

the setting is gorgeous. place was very clean. There was a great selection of food for breakfast, fresh fruits and also pasta with tomato sauce one can quickly prepare for lunch. Coffee, nice selection of teas, milk, yogurt and even beer was available. The hostess was extremely gracious and helpful.

Calm and relaxing place with great view on rural moutains and city Motovun. Superb friendly and helpful host. Quiet and picturesque surrounding out of nowhere (with full fridge of staff prepared by host to avoid searching for shop in the beggining). Superior place for rest and trips to near cities or seaside. Full of trails for hiking, MTB or road bikes. If you need city atmosphere it’s not there but if you’re looking for quiet that’s definitely this!

The overall approach made by the owner was astonishing. The owner and the suite itslef present the best value for money that we encountered during our trips along Croatia. Apartment itself was more than adequatly equipped, and it should also be mentioned that the owner went above and beyond with groceries and household items available to us during the stay. We would like to thank Mirjan once again for this great pleasure.

Very nice, clean and tidy, well equipped apartment, surrounded by beautiful nature, a little less than three kilometers away from Oprtalj, certainly one of the most beautiful towns in the Istrian interior. The host family is very accommodating, the lady equipped the refrigerator above all expectations. The peaceful environment is ideal for true relaxation and rest. Also, the place is very good as a starting point for many trips to this part of Istria.

Relaxing weekend

Everything was great! Apartment is located in small village near Motovun. The surrounding is very quiet and calm, it makes one feel very relaxed. The apartment itself was very clean and nice. Our hosts made sure we had everything we needed, including the fridge filled with fruit, drinks and other stuff, a gesture much appreciated. I would recommend it to anyone looking for nice and quiet place to stay.

Pure Love

This was just “wow”! The village, the views, landscapes and apartments are so nice, we were so surprised!!! Franka and her son Marjen are so lovely people, very kind and hospitable. The apartments are very clean and cozy. This villa reminds me the movie of Bernadro Bertolucci “Stealing beauty”. We will definitely come back. In love with this place and already missing.

Everything was excellent, clean, we had all we needed in our apartment, balcony view was lovely. Our host left lot of fresh food in the fridge so we could have a breakfast at home. This accomodation is ideal for couples.

We had a wonderful stay at Mirjan´s place for three nights. The place is very clean, cozy, has wonderful views and is very quiet. It was in a perfect location - quiet and laid back. The view of the fruit trees in the garden and the beautiful landscapes of the untouched nature is just amazing! This place by far exceeded our expectations and we didn’t have expectations. Mirjan and his mother went far beyond hospitality and generosity. They had left us lots of food, drinks, coffee, bread, butter, delicious homemade jam and pastries, delicious homemade pasta, self-picked figs, plums and apples... Mirjan and his mother did everything to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Totally recommend it. We would definitely stay here again! Mnogo hvala for your kindness!

I travel a lot, but this is the first time where I got more than I bargained for. All the little necessary things that you need in every day life you will find it here and you dont have to bring it alone. When I check in the fridge was full of home made strudel and fresh fruits alone with other snacks. As a wellcome gift I got a present made of local products. The place was extremely clean, quiet and the view from the apartment was beautifull. I strongly recomend it to everyone visiting central Istria.

Prvo što nas je oduševilo su izuzetni domaćini Franka i Mirjan koji su nas dočekali s punim hladnjakom i ukusnim poslasticama i dali nam korisne savjete za razgledavanje prekrasne Istre. Apartman je čist i uredan,a smješten je na super lokaciji sa prekrasnim pogledom na Istarske doline i brda, Oprtalj i Motovun zauvijek će nam ostati u sjećanju. Pronašli smo mir u kojem se može opustiti uz cvrkut ptica i šum vjetra s mirisom cvijeća, a Mirjan nam je kroz svoje priče prikazao jedan novi opušteni svijet kojeg vrijedi upoznati da bi uživali u njemu. Lijepa i mirna lokacija u kojoj smo se osjećali kao u vlastitom domu poziva nas da se opet vratimo tamo. Apartman preporučujemo svima koji vole prirodu i mir. Tout était parfait

Première super escale en Croatie, accueil chaleureux, logement mignon, confortable, très bien équipé et une situation géographique impeccable pour nous: loin du bruit, en nature, calme et reposant. Logement très propre, bien agencé pour trois et du linge de maison en quantité. Une hôtesse à nos petits soins et de bons conseils que nous remercions vivement. Tout était prêt à notre arrivée et pour notre départ, nous avons eu droit à de petites attentions locales, du bonheur! Et c’est aussi un paradis pour les toutous. Merci beaucoup à notre hôtesse et à son fils. Si notre voyage n'avait pas déjà été bouclé, nous serions restés plus longtemps :)
