Unhygienic room, not suitable for accommodation

There are many issues, and it is difficult to find anything positive, except perhaps the mattress.

The experience was disappointing and, honestly, I felt misled. The room is in an unhygienic condition, and the air conditioning emits a strong moldy smell, a clear sign that it has not been cleaned for a long time. Considering there is no other source of heating, the situation becomes absurd: you don’t know whether it is worse to keep it on or to turn it off. If the host had even minimal respect for guests, at least a basic renovation should have been done. Unfortunately, the room is not suitable for accommodation. In my opinion, accommodations in this condition should not be allowed on Booking.com. This level of hygiene and maintenance is unacceptable. Additionally, the location is not close to the city center, as it might appear; it takes about a 30-minute walk. I strongly do not recommend it.

Very lovely but please silence the dog

The hosts were absolutely lovely, the room was outstanding, and the location was just outside a picturesque hill town surrounded by vineyards. Easy to get to and great parking.

I was awakened at 6:00 a.m. by the dog next door barking nonstop for 15 minutes. That is just not acceptable. Then some person unknown came knocking at my door at 7:00 a.m. and never answered when I asked who it was. I would have given the property a 10 otherwise.

Wonderful stay

Gracijela and her husband were very kind and attentive, everything was spotless and nicely decorated. Peaceful location with parking, and Pico the little dog made our stay even more special. Best stay in Motovun by far.Highly recommended!

A warm and thoughtful stay filled with lovely details and hosted by truly kind people (and an adorable dog)!

The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming — and they have the sweetest little dog! The apartment was perfectly clean and thoughtfully prepared down to the smallest details. There were slippers, various hygiene products, coffee, even some sweets — all the little touches that make you feel truly at home. Everything was cozy and carefully arranged with love.

Excellent place to stay (for very reasonable costs) when visiting Motovun

The hosts are super friendly and helpful. The room is spotless clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was not included but the landlady served coffee and cookies every morning. Very near to Motovun. Car parking is available when you come by car.

House numbering is not very logical: house number 5A is preceded by house number 5C .... (not the fault of the hosts ...)

Clean and nice room with very hospitable hosts

The room Gracijela was clean and tidy with all necessary equipment, even a corner for self-service coffee or tea. The hosts were kind and hospitable. They even prepared coffee and a sweet snack for us every morning. There is also a dog who is very cute and cuddly. :)

The owners are a super nice and amiable couple with a cute and quiet little dog (if you’re a dog person, expect a warm welcome 🥰🐶). A cozy apartment equipped with everything you might need. It is located outside of Motovun (down the hill), but if you like to walk, we recommend walking up to town, and at night, you’ll have a really starry path (if you’re lucky to have clear skies 😇✨).

More than we expected. A tasty Turkish coffee in early mornings was an extremely nice gesture.

The room, even it may have been a simple garage in its former life, was very nice, clean and cosy. For the heating during winter weekend (in December) an air condition was used. The room is very well equipped and also nicely decorated (some paintings, flowers, colourful but not kitschy). There is enough space and almost everything you need is in the room.

Only two minor remarks (not even complaints): the sink in the bathroom is relatively small and there is a shelf over it so it is relatively difficult to wash a face without softly bumping into the shelf :-) There is no proper chair in the room (which could be used also as a potential dryer for clothes) but a kind lady immediately provided us clothes stand for drying.

A very pleasant stay at Gracijela Soba in motovun

The room was spotlessly clean...the location very close to motovun. The landlady was very welcoming. If you speak a little bit of Italian would be even better to communicate. Gracijela also provided us with continental breakfast and a piece of cake too. I highly recommend thiis place and would definitely go back when i get the chance. Gracijela s dog is so cute as well. I loved the colourful room that we stayed in. Good taste of colours.

Unfortunately, hosts speak no English, so communication was difficult. No instructions were given on the unique switches (ex., water heater had the switch next to the bathroom’s lights and we inadvertently turned it off causing cold water shower). No local suggestions also.

We were looking for a room near Motovun and Soba Gracijela was an exceptional fit for our budget and the location. The room had everything, including an electric kettle and a fridge and the apartment was very clean too. Thanks very much for the morning coffee and cake!

The hosts were extremely kind and caring people. The room was very clean and lovely, we had everything we needed. We would have loved to stay longer! They also have a lovely little dog called pico, we enjoyed his company a lot! The house is located in a beautiful spot in the mountains. If you have the chance, go there! You might need a car though. Thanks a lot for hosting us! We had a lovely time at soba gracijela!

Awesome and friendly stay

Absolutely awesome hosts who bring coffee and some snacks each morning, nice location - 10-15min walk to somewhere below the hill of Motovun (bus station), big, clean room, comfy bed, fan instead of AC which is totally ok. A little noisy because they keep many dogs around in that village so bring some earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Perfect, quiet and peaceful location, short walk with great views to Motovun. Very nice, friendly and helpful owners. Extremely comfortable, clean and large room. There was even a fridge, kettle, cups and glasses in the room.
