La Casona de Candamín

This is a beautiful rustic "village" in the mountains. It is quiet and welcoming with only the sound of cow bells and lively conversation. We were met by Conchi and Lucas who immediately made us feel welcome. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed fresh salad nightly due to the generosity of our hosts. It is a short walk to the river Nalon and short drives to nearby towns including Oviedo and Aviles. The rooms are kept cool naturally by the stone walls and foliage. The apartment was equipped with everything one needs- we only brought food (and there is a supermarket nearby). The children, ages 6 and 13 loved exploring and sitting outside to eat, play games, and visit with Conchi and Lucas. We hope to return.

The WiFi was not reliable. Parking is a challenge due to the steep hills. We wanted to visit the local caves but space is limited to 15 persons/hour and the hours are 11, 12, and 1. Book early online.

La ubicació a 30 min d'Avilès i Oviedo , al mig de la muntanya , lloc molt tranquil , instal·lacions molt bones , disposa de plaça d'aparcament , disposa de calefacció i llar de foc metàl·lica, la Conchi una atenció molt bona , cordial i detallista. LLoc ideal per visitar Asturies central , platja o parc Somiedo

Sens ah fet curta la estancia ..

La ubicación, comodidad y amenidades de la casa. La casera, muy amable, nos dió productos de su huerta.

No había internet en la casa, a pesar de estar indicado en la reserva. El horno no funcionaba (se saltaba el interruptor general de la casa al encenderlo)y la lavadora tampoco (fue reparada un día antes de nuestra salida). Se podría mejorar el aislamiento acústico.

El tracte és molt bo i la casa en ser antiga, té molt encant. Està aprop de l'aeroport, per fer una primera arribada a Astúries.u

L'apartament (de baix) és molt fosc.
