A lovely, cozy stay, with a beautiful view of the water, and a wonderful host. I'd love to go back.

Maja is an absolutely fantastic host. She was so warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the city. The location is perfect, and I loved the room and view. Maja even helped us get some reservations around the city, and gave wonderful recommendations during our stay. Maja is the best!

Beautiful but lacking privacy

The location is excellent and the view from the room is truly stunning. Maya offers equipment for the beach which is great and the kitchen facilities were good.

We did not feel that we had our own space here. The noise carries through the property so much that you hear every step of the people above you at 1am , 4am etc and you can hear them snoring. We also heard a noise one of the evenings and came out of the bedroom to Maya in our apartment closing the kitchen shutters during some bad weather. A knock would have been appreciated. Ultimately this is Maya’s house and she needs to protect this beautiful place but do not expect the feeling you have your own apartment. The thing separating our kitchen and bathroom area from the rest of the property was a shutter which has no lock. Also we needed to pay cash which we were informed of after we arrived. This should be clear up front.

Charming apartment with balcony, kitchen and sea views

The apartment was in a good location in the middle of the old town, with a balcony and a view of the sea and beautiful historic buildings. Part of the apartment is built on the original city wall. The host was wonderful with a wealth of information about the town and things to see. The apartment was very clean with a nice little kitchen where we kept food for breakfast.

I am 185 cm tall, and the beautiful old bed was a little short for me, forcing me to sleep on an angle across the bed.

Everything about this property was divine! We loved the home’s history, it’s perfect location 2 steps from the Adriatic Sea, the care taken to decorate the interior, furnishings and exterior of the home, and Maja the warm and welcoming hostess who is so very passionate about her home and visitors. Maja told and gave us a map about the local sights - so helpful! She informed us of the best fish restaurant which served the most delicious fish dishes.

Best place in Piran

This must be the top location in Piran, there is no better! The apartment really had everything you need, including everything you need for a day at the beach. The host lives in the same house and is really helpfull to get the most out of your stay in Piran!

You just need to be aware that the apartment is located in the car free old center of Piran. So if you come by car you'll need to leave it in a parking space outside the city (26 euro/day) and take the free shuttle bus to the center (10 minutes) and walk to the apartment (8 minutes).

Beautiful house, friendly host

Everything. First of all: amazing view. Amazing location. Beautiful historic building. The host Maja is really friendly. She prepared for us maps what we can visit and gave us tips what we could check and where we could eat. In the evening we had a really nice chat where she told us stories about her house, her family and the history of Piran. Felt really welcoming.

Very small bathroom, detached from the room; it can get extremely hot in the room and there is no AC; the stairs are steep and narrow and difficult to climb, especially with luggage; the “terrace” is in front of the building, on the street

I can recomend Apartments Maja in Piran. Maja is exceptional host and provided a tons of advices for what to do, what to see, what to eat. She is doing it from her heart and she is extraordinary and kind person. Vila Maja has awesome location and is perfect for couples or solo travelers. And they are still doing and planning improvements and investments. We will come back next year for sure, since it was very memorable stay!

Piran ist eine Reise wert!

Die Lage ist grandios! Und Maja ist sehr zugewandt und hat uns richtig umsorgt! Wir waren nur 2 Nächte in Piran aber sind durch den herzlichen Empfang überraschend schnell angekommen. Die Lage ist genial. Blick aufs Meer, und tolle Cafes und Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Autos der Touristen sind gefühlt alle in den Parkgaragen. Die Stadt ist quasi autofrei- was für ein Genuss! Richtig schön ist Piran! Maja versorgt einen mit Tips uns Informationen die sehr hilfreich sind. Das Haus ist alt und voller Geschichte, so wie die Stadt Piran sehr viel Geschichte ausstrahlt, die sich aber nicht aufdrängt. Es macht neugierig…Es gibt Liegen, Strandsessel, Schwimmhilfen , Badetücher , Pläne für Radtouren etc… frag Maja:)))

De locatie is top! Piran is echt een gezellige kuststad. Het appartement ligt vlak aan de zee en je kan er ligstoelen gebruiken om buiten te liggen en de zee in te duiken. Dat kan gewoon allemaal om de hoek. Gezellige cafés en restaurants op wandelafstand. De gastvrouw Maja is echt een spraakwaterval! Bij aankomst kregen we zelf een heerlijk potje watermeloen. Parkeren doen je op een betalende ondergronds parking, op 15min. wandelafstand.

Er is geen airco en het kan er erg warm worden! Je kan er wel de ramen op een kier zetten, maar tijdens ons verblijf was er veel wind, dus was dat niet ideaal.

Brak normalnej kuchni, Lodówka miniaturowa, Fatalne gniazdka do których ciężko było włożyć wtyczkę ładowarki a czasami nawet nie udało się nic włożyć jak np. czajnik. Czajnik śmierdział plastikiem. Meble pachniały stęchlizną wilgocią. Brak intymności. Kwatera nie posiadała bezpośredniego wejścia na balkon. Balkon znajdował się poniżej pokoju. Aby do niego się dostać trzeba było zejść niżej po schodach. Brak parkingu. po przyjeździe samochodem trzeba do kwatery dojść z walizkami, ponieważ szlaban zamykany jest o godz.10. 00, wynajem zaczyna się od 15.00. Mycie naczyń w niewygodnej umywalce, ze względu na brak kuchni. Pokoje na innych kondygnacjach posiadały kuchnie, ten pokój nie, a cena nie była wcale taka niska. Nie wyobrażam sobie pobytu dłuższego z opcją przyrządzania posiłków typu śniadań, bo brak wygodnego miejsca i przestrzeni na tą czynność. Ogólnie widok z okna super pokój klitka z niby aneksem kuchennym w rogu pomieszczenia. Ciężko było zrobić sobie herbaty czy kawy,

Hier wohnst Du im Haus einer liebenswerten Dame direkt am Ende der kleinen Stadt mit Blick auf das Meer. Der Empfang und auch die Betreuung während des Aufenthalts ist sehr herzlich. Das Haus hat Charme und ist sehr authentisch. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt!

Du musst wissen, dass du mit dem Auto nur zu gewissen Zeiten bis vor das Haus fahren kannst und somit die Anreise gut geplant werden sollte; das Auto lässt Du am besten im Parkhaus am Eingang der Stadt! Dann kannst Du den Bus nehmen und den Rest dann zu Fuss...

Tökéletes a helyszín. A szállás ennek megfelelő stílusú. Remek óvárosi hangulat. Kedves, barátságos, melegszívű, közvetlen, rendkívül segítőkész és törődő szállásadó. A fürdőszoba - bár csöppnyi - de makulátlan tiszta, a konyha jól felszerelt, a hálószoba kényelmes méretű, elég sok pakolóhellyel. A felső szobához tartozik a kis balkon, ami egyszerűen fantasztikus látvánnyal bír. Bármikor visszamennék. A szállástól alig pár méterre már be lehet menni a vízbe, ami tiszta, és jól úszható. (Sem tengeri sün nincs a vízben, sem szúnyog a levegőben, éjjel nyitott ablak mellett aludhatunk.) A kilátás kivételes.

A parkolás a kisváros (óvárosra igaz) elhelyezkedéséből adódóan kissé körülményes, korlátozott, a szállás(ok) mellett nem lehet parkolni, csak a városkán kívül fizetős parkolólétesítményben. Emiatt sétálós a közlekedés, de a távolságok (bolt, éttermek, pénzautomata) rendben vannak.
