Charming & Historic Building in the Heart of Piran

The property manager made the experience memorable from beginning to end. He made the drop off and pick-up process seamless and easy. The location couldn’t be more perfect. The 2nd floor bedroom was spacious; it had a large bathroom with heated floors. The view of the square is beautiful.

The bed was okay but not super comfortable. There was only one pillow for a large bed, which was a little odd.

Lovely service, beautiful history.

The care for the property, the art, the history of the space, and all the little touches made this place such a gem. The service was top notch and the family who runs it are SO kind! Would stay here again in a heartbeat. They clearly had the routine down of transitioning bags from cars into the rooms (given there are no cars in the main street of Piran).

I liked everything- if anything the WiFi might have been a bit weak at times. Note: Parking is available but at a (significant) cost in one of the town’s parking garages.

The location was absolutely perfect, but the Iztok and his family were even better - they could not have been kinder, mo

The room and ensuite shower were on the top floor of the oldest building in the main square (very quiet) so full of character and surrounded by history and local culture. We found out about the history of the building and many other interesting facts about the town and its way of life thanks to the host, Iztok, in his very interesting rundown on our arrival; he really helped us to settle in very quickly.

Beware! Parking on the outskirts of the town was really expensive: 29€ per day!

An immensely enjoyable stay in the prettiest villa in Piran, an iconic house on the main square. A highlight was the lovely host family, so kind and helpful. Spotlessly clean with the best views.

What a beautiful stay. The family who run the hotel are were so lovely and accommodating. The history behind the hotel is a beautiful story & it makes the place so much more special. Perfect location, very welcoming hosts

The location on the main square overlooking the water and walking distance to many waterfront seafood restaurants can’t be beat. Iztok, and his lovely parents could not have been more welcoming and accommodating of our many requests and questions. They shared the house’s romantic history while we sipped on a welcome wine. A great selection of eclectic art. Easy to find and Iztok helped us with our luggage straight from the square to the room. We stayed in the smaller cute upper floor loft room, there are a few flights of stairs but that helps you burn off the gelato! When we left they arranged a free cart shuttle to our car. Can’t recommend enough.

Amazing location, in the very center of Piran, in a famous Venitian house. The owners are very nice and can tell you a lot of stories about the city. The parking spot is in the heights of Piran but not more than 10min walk from the room. The room was very well decorated, bed confortable, clean and with air conditionner. Piran is a magical city and it s hard to find a better place to discover it. We had a lovely time ans we highly recommand it.

It was an honour to be staying at the oldest, venetian house in Tartini Square. I was in the loft, and it was pure good taste.

Since everything is really perfect, I will say that the wifi needs an upgrade to be as perfect as everything else.

Residing in a small venetian palazzo at Piazza Tartani, a world heritage site

The host was very helpful and told us the story of this particular venetian Ca‘, which is legendary. Nice welcome with a very good Istrian champagne.

A breakfast served in the Piano nobile would have been nice, but there are good cafés around !

On this trip everything was surprisingly good: Slovenia and the city of Piran and Benecanka Casa Veneziana. Great location, great views, hospitable hosts. The indescribable atmosphere of the ancient city of Piran is right at your feet. Apartments: small but very cozy, everything is thoughtfully and tastefully done. From the attic window is a picturesque view of the main square and the sea. Although it is lively during the day, at night you can enjoy peace and quiet. A separate thanks to our hosts. On the first day we were met and carefully escorted to the parking lot (for us it turned out to be free which was a nice bonus). Fine wines and all necessary information about the city complemented this evening. Special thanks for the opportunity to attend the concert of the young and talented Tonya Princess ... Five days passed quickly. I would like to come back here again.

Let them talk...

Excellent location in a historic house right in the main square. 2 minutes walk to the beaches of Piran and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Everything you need is right here. My man "G" will take good care of you! Parking is up the hill but they have a free shuttle. We chose to walk the 1 kilometer back to Piran along the waters edge and take in the beautiful views. G arranged the free parking and delicious breakfast in a nearby restaurant right on the water. Everything was seamless!

The room is located directly at the central tartini place in a historic house. We booked the smaller room at the rooftop with the green bathroom. It is equipped with a very quite air conditioning and a small fridge with complimentary water. The location in the middle of Piran is awesome, the hosts are very friendly and helpful, the apartment was clean and the wifi good.

For sure the location is great, but 190€ per night is ridiculous for a double bed room without any table, small bathroom and any feature (no Netflix, no Terrasse/balcony, no breakfast option, ...)

Fabulous room overlooking the square!

You can't get a better location in Piran or a better host! We stayed in the attic room and the only sad thing was having to open the window on the roof to see the view... But the view over the square is stunning!

Really nothing, but take note that there is no parking in the town. Be sure to contact the host so he can meet you at the parking garage and show you how to take the free shuttle bus.
