Clock House Cottage

Location was great, very peaceful and close to great beaches. Bedrooms were big and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Bathrooms were downstairs which was a bit unusual but we got used to it and there were 2 which was great.

A real home from home. Everything we needed and above. Location - 5-10 minutes to the beach where we enjoyed, together with our dog Bobbi, the most beautiful sunsets and moon rises, we even shared our last day swimming with a seal. Our host, Sarah, made us feel so welcome, she shared so much knowledge about the places we should visit so every day was amazing. When we expressed our wish to have a circular trip to The Needles she stopped us saying the trip was too long for Bobbi and instead she drove us there so that we could comfortably walk back home. Thank you Sarah ☺️

Location was absolutely wonderful, the garden was lovely to sit out in, the property close to excellent beaches and Compton Bay the most wonderful beach ever! The property itself was excellent, suited our needs almost perfectly apart from the fridge/freezer which was not quite adequate for 4 self catering adults. Sarah was a wonderfully accommodating person, really flexible and helpful with tips on the local area. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to this wonderful property and location.

The fridge wasn’t quite cold enough and consequently we had milk going off, and drinks weren’t cold. We feel this might have been because we had to put a lot of things into the fridge which was not quite big enough. We were a bit disappointed on our last day not to be able to have breakfast in the garden before departing as a team of gardeners had come very early to mow all the lawns.
