It’s our second time. Me and my son. We love the pool, rental of water equipment (kayak, pedalo) it’s just by the lake so you can swim from the sandy beach or using stairs from promenade. Little restaurant at the beach very good store with all essentials you may need is at the back of the site (walking distance 2 min) fabulous view, family friendly and quiet. Loads of things happening around the area during the day or evening so you can join in local life just to reset your mind. I honestly love the simplicity of this place.
A bit of uneven tiles by the pool and some loose concrete have cut skin of my son’s foot. So you can imagine drama when he saw a bit of blood. I have had all first aid so plaster fixed that. But despite I love the size of pool and how clean it is the pool area could use some restoration.

Sorico is a peaceful little village adjacent to the river feeding into Lake Como. The site is small and wherever you are on it you are basically just a minute from the river. Its beautiful with the mountains as a backdrop all round. It's way s.aller scale than the site I went to at Lake Garda, its cheaper amd feels less commercial..The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. It's good for paddleboatding, wind surfing, swimming, or a family with young kids as thf river is quite shallow in the marked areas. The cabins are basic bit comfortable and serviceable. The photos of the site don't quite do the cabins justice. It's lovely there!
No complaints at all!

The hotel was right next to the lake which was lovely. Great list of restaurants nearby and there was a bus station near which took us straight to Menaggio in 40 minutes. Staff were fantastic, so polite and helpful. Great value for money - what you get is what you pay for!
The location is definitely far from the likes of Menaggio, Bellano etc. so you do have to travel by bus to get there. We didn't mind the commute but just to let others know - you have to pay by cash for buses here! And if you want to purchase bus tickets, you should go to the bar near the bus stop of this hotel (they also sell amazing coffees). We were very lucky as a local showed us how to do all this (shout out to Dominique!).
Other than the bus travel confusion, this area was very nice and the hotel was just great value for money.

Rude camp owner. Old-times furniture, terrible uncomfortable beds, no blankets. Camp swimming pool available with swimming cap only.

Stunning location with amazing views and a great mix of camping, lodges and private rooms. I can imagine in summer it’s even better.
The shower had no curtain or protection so the bathroom gets soaked when you take a shower but that’s a small niggle by comparison!

The lady at the check-in was very nice. She spoke little to no English but we communicated very easily.
I liked the kitchen outside and the very spacious beds.
Dinner is quite expensive, but that is of course optional. :)

The owner and staff couldn't do enough for us.
Over and above there duties.
Food was excellent and very reasonably priced.
Location right on the Lakeside, safe and secure.
Swimming ideal to relax in.

The staff was friendly and explained about the campsite and the nearby grocery store well. The view over the lake is gorgeous and you can access it right from the campsite. We also loved the outdoor kitchen with all the amenities that were present.
The bed springs were very squeaky on one side of the double bed which affected our night's sleep. There were also no mosquito screens which made it a bit hot in the room, but there's a fan present to compensate for that.

The kitchen of our bungalow was well surprisingly well-equipped. (Plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, stove-top coffee maker, dish soap, sponge, one kitchen towel). The fan in the bedroom was greatly appreciated. The bathroom was nice with private stalls that each contained a shower, sink and toilet. Staff was very friendly, but not a lot of english. Market very close by that had all the little things you need and some great food too.
The things you should pack: A sharp knife, cutting board, extra kitchen towels and some candles or a lamp for the table at night. And wine glasses if a normal glass does not meet your standards. ;-)
(The underside of the bunk bed is a bit dangerous - metal bits sticking out.)

near the lake and have a good walk near the area. there is a nice pizza restaurant near the hotel which staff recommended to us. staff are helpful and friendly. free parking.
it has very basic things for a short stay. it was very cheap and i booked to try a different camping experience and it is not something i will try this place again. those who do camping may find it quite nice though.

It’s was amazing. the staff, location, surrounding suburb were all great and allowed us to have the perfect mix of some down time alongside long walks along the lake, paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming. Place was super clean, buffet dinner €18 was great value and the €1 gelato was even better.
There were no mozzie nets on the windows that we needed open to cool the place down at night and our hot water in our room was having issues but the shared bathrooms were fine.

Good value for money for the options available at that moment

The price. If you are a wise traveller like us, who would rather have an affordable stay in a bungalow, then have fun visiting places, this is the place.
None. All is well for the price they offered.

Great location. Right on Lake Como. The cabins were well euipped and comfortable. Staff were helpful. Nice and quiet environment
It would have been great to have a few essential supplies in the shop given the limited open hours of the local shops

Superb location with lake view, good food, very nice pool, and every possible sport or leisure activity.
Some of the facilities need renovation or complete replacement.

You can charge your car by the cabin with the outside socket. Outside kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, sink and cutleries included. Friendly staff (that doesn't speak much English). Literally a 2 minutes walk away from lake Como. Quiet at night.
A lot of mosquitoes in the cabin. No mesh to keep them out. Shower could use some convenient space to store personal belongings and regularly cleaned.
