About this apartment rental
Room for two more sofa bed for 2, fantastic views of Lake Como.
Access to 'accommodation is independent from the garden. Large private terrace, there are a bedroom, a bathroom with toilet and shower; a living room with satellite TV where there is a kitchenette equipped with all appliances (5 burner stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine) and sofa bed (comfortable for two people). WiFi internet access. In the apartment there are two doors panoramic window that directly access to the terrace where there are two chairs and umbrella and chair. The property has a garden (about 500 square meters, common use) totally enclosed with space for children to play and eventually to leave bicycles. For guests there is a reserved parking not covered. We are half hill excellent starting point for hikes with trails leading to the lake and the mountains.

Mauro is a wonderful host and has a beautiful property with modern, updated apartments. Mauro welcomed us to his apartment and told us about hiking excursions as well as the best restaurants in town. It was great to have insider information!
The apartment was very clean and has great amenities. The full size gas stove, cookware, dishware, and dishwasher made it easy to cook meals.
I highly recommend staying at one of Mauro’s apartments!

It was our first visit of Como lake.
Though many tourists, some days were a lot rainy,and the apartment was therefore very cold in the morning and when we arrived in the evening...we enjoyed our stay!
Nice hiking.
Friendly people.
There is heating, but we were told that the gas will be with extra costs, because expensive in the mountains.
So we didn't use it.Our mistake.
No warm extra sleeping blanket.
Make sure to bring your own sleeping bag for cold nights, just in case!!

If you don't want to drive 15 minutes by car from your apartment the narrow steep street to the next village at the lake ,Gera Lario, you should probably search for another place...
Sure, if you want, you can go by foot every day to the lake.
Communication, Organisation
we decided spontaneously to go there for hiking , just a short trip.
So we booked the same day, we managed to finally go South and Mauro reacted very quickly and his wife made it happen, that everything was fine and that we could check in the same evening! You are very friendly people,

Como lake:
If you love or want to try water activities, Como Lake is with it's Breva definitely a good place for you.
BUT: the traffic! If you want to do sightseeing or just wanting to visit another place at the lake , make sure to go by PUBLIC BOAT TAXI, instead of driving your own car!
Motorcycles..., narrow serpentine streets, going by car was so much noise and it was no fun, but stressfully.

Tout est parfait pour passer un très bon séjour : emplacement avec vue exceptionnelle, qualité de l'hébergement avec un très bon équipement, l'accueil, contacts et attentions du propriétaire.

Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist sehr gut und entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Die Aussicht ist spektakulär und noch schöner als auf den Bildern.
Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Zweimal wurden wir von Mauro und seiner Frau mit einem Glas Sekt und einem kleinen Snack und Oliven überrascht.
Direkt am Haus verläuft der Wanderweg SI. Auf dem Weg auf den Berg hinauf kommt man in einer Viertelstunde durch einen kleinen Ort (Bugiallo). Dort gibt es ein kleines Hotel mit Restaurant mit leckeren hausgemachten italienischen Spezialitäten.
Die Ausgangslage ist ideal, um sowohl in die Berge zu wandern als auch schnell ins Tal und an die schönen Orte rund um den Comer See zu gelangen. Mauro spricht sehr gut Deutsch und hat uns viele interessante Ziele gezeigt und sogar extra auf Karten eingezeichnet und markiert.
Sowohl die Wohnung, die Lage als auch als das herzliche Verhältnis zu Mauro und seiner Frau machen die Ferienwohnung zu einer absoluten Empfehlung unsererseits.
