Beautiful, cute and comfortable Italian apartment

This is literally the best apartment we have ever rented! The owner - Claudia - is a lovely woman, that want to help with everything, so happy and welcoming you at her home. She was waiting for us at the door, smiling and greeting us. You have your own door to the apartment, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and a small cute balcony. Everything is clean and perfectly prepared for your stay. Also, there is a wifi connection stable and available for your use, even when you want to work from that place. We can highly recommend staying at Claudia’s apartment!

Very nice host, but lots of turn-offs

Claudia was very kind and helpful. Whenever we needed anything she was easy to contact and she immediately helped (programs nearby, renting e-bikes, need for more toilet paper, a ventillator, etc.) The location is very calm and it is suitable for nice e-bike rides, but otherwise I would rather choose a locstion with immediate access to the official boat lines, as Tremezzio or Mennagio, because it not only takes a 30-40 minute car ride, but it is also extremely difficult to park in those towns. the apartment had everything it promised, even though I was a bit suprised when we saw it in person, much more was expected based on the photos. The bathroom was nice, just as it is on the photo, however the water pressure is very low…

The bedrooms were extremely dark and very hot. I understand, it was summer, but an aircondition is a must in these rooms. The town itself is very small, there is one acceptable restaurant with limited choice, I’d rather pick another (bigger) town for better gastronomy. There is one terrace to be shared with the neighbour, but what is more important, that the terrace is not in the building, but in front of the entrance, it does not feel like a terrace. There is another smaller, private one, full of spiders, that you can access through the window of one of the rooms, we couldn’t really use it unfortunately. i would not recommend this apartment for older people, since you have to haul your luggage up the street from your car and up small, windong staircase.

Irreführende Bebilderung

Lage nahe am Comer See. Für die Gegend günstiger Preis. Küche mit Siebträgermaschine. Freundliche Gastgeberin.

Die Fotos zur Unterkunft sind irreführend: nur die Fotos zum "Zimmer" zeigen das tatsächliche Apartment, alle anderen gehören zu einer anderen Wohnung, die hier nicht angeboten wird. Insbesondere gehört kein Garten oder ähnliches dazu. Dass Apartment ist definitiv auch nicht 60qm groß. Matratzen sind unbequem. Das Geschirr von den Vorbewohnern stand noch ungespült in der Spülmaschine. In der Dusche funktionierte die Handbrause nicht. Gera ist zwar an sich gut gelegen, die Einkaufs- und Essensoptionen sind aber stark eingeschränkt, erst im nächsten Ort gibt es brauchbare Restaurants.

Die Lange ist Perfekt mitten im Ort nur zu Fuß erreichbar (kleiner Fußmarsch 50-100m) dadurch aber sehr ruhig.
