Nice place, perfectly situated for us, with some irritations around our booking

The location was perfect, right at the start of the trail head; and we wanted an apartment-style setup, which this place offered. The host was friendly and the place was clean, good Wi-Fi, nice space overall. I thought it was well-priced for the apartment that I got.

I booked two apartments. The host must have thought that as two people travelling together she could just change our booking to one apartment rather than the two separate ones we asked for. When I pointed out we had booked two apartments, she unmade one of the beds in the apartment we did get and put my friend in a room (not apartment), saying they were the same price but then deducting the 'cleaning fee'. We were also asked to pay in cash, which was quite inconvenient.

Mountain hideaway with the most welcoming host

Helga was a very welcoming host. Upon check in, which went easy and without any hazzle, she asked if I wanted to cook and since I said yes she upgraded me to the apartment (had booked a solo room which looked flawless as well) with a living room and kitchen as well as a spacious bedroom. She recommended me an amazing restaurant never the less and was an experienced guide for hikes and other experiences in this beautiful area. If I come to scharnitz again, for sure it will be to Helga's!!!

Pleasant

Location. We visit 2x the scharnitzer Alm. Only 20 min away. Easy walking. The price was very reasonable for our room. Great big fridge and the entire apartment big enough for 3 people.

It was not very clean. The beds where clean and that was great. But over all it was not very clean in the bathroom or kitchen. The paperwork for a kurkarte was done at the end when we paid.. But it was a cheap price and so you can not really complain. You get what you pay for.

A great place to stopover while hiking in the Karwendel mountains

Helga's place was perfect for us to stopover while hiking in the Karwendel Mountains. Helga was very friendly and the place was very clean and comfortable. We loved the kitchen facilities - the fridge and microwave and a kitchen table for our picnic. It was 500 metres from the centre but this didn't bother us as we were hiking anyway.

Totale, überteuerte Enttäuschung

Zimmer und Bad waren sauber. Balkon mit Aussicht Richtung Ort. Das Gästehaus liegt am Ortsrand, etwas am Berg in einer Sackgasse

Nicht die gebuchte 2-Zimmer-FeWo erhalten. statt dessen "nur" Zimmer mit Balkon. Dafür wurde derselbe Preis verlangt!! Erst nach Verhandlungen mit der Vermieterin und einer Beschwerde über Booking.com kleinen refund erhalten, als wir schon wieder zu hause waren. Zimmer muss bar bezahlt werden!! Es gibt kein Frühstück, obwohl es uns vor dem Urlaub schriftlich zugesagt wurde und wir uns darauf verlassen haben!!! Kein Kühlschrank, obwohl mit gebucht! Vermieterin (84jährig) offenbar mit der Abwicklung der Vermietung überfordert. Wir würden definitiv nicht mehr dort übernachten!

Mooie locatie, vriendelijke eigenaresse, ruim appartement, alles wat nodig was was in de basis aanwezig. Genoeg parkeerplek, je kunt mooie wandeltochten maken vanuit het appartement.

Het bed lag wat minder comfortabel, en gordijn/rolding voor raam in slaapkamer ontbrak, maar dat was met eigen creatieve oplossing wel op te lossen. Voor de rest niets, was prima verder!

Super Lage, sehr sauber und ordentlich.

Super Lage. Direkt an der Isar - man ist sofort in der Natur. Helga ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Appartement war sehr sauber. Möbel und Ausstattung schon etwas älter. Aber dafür ist Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis top.

Es könnte ein bisschen mehr Geschirr vorhanden sein. Wenn man sich selbst verpflegen will, muss man schon kreativ sein… 😄

Sehr schöne Tage mit ruhigen Nächten, in denen ich der Isar zugehört habe, wie sie ins Tal fließt

Durch die kleine Küchenzeile konnte ich mir morgens meinen Tee selber kochen und war dadurch völlig unabhängig. Die Gastgeberin war wirklich sehr sehr nett und die Lage des Gästehauses war für mich super praktisch. Nicht weit zum Bahnhof, dennoch sehr ruhig am Eingang zu den Karwendeltälern gelegen. Ich habe die Zeit für kleine Bergtouren genutzt und war rundum zufrieden!

De ligging en ik had het bovenste appartement aan de voorzijde met balkon en uitzicht op dorp, bos en bergen. Top!

Eerlijk. Het is gedateerd. Er is geen standaard servies, kookplaatje, koelkast, keuken zijn aan vervanging toe. Ik verwacht niet dat de inverstering wordt gedaan. De eigenaaresse is op leeftijd. Ik zou iemand in dienst nemen voor schoonmaak en andere klussen of uitbesteden. Bel me 😉
