Location is perfect. It is very close to city center and very quiet at the same time. It is on a walking distance from the Danube river.

I liked the location of the hotel, near the Parc and the Danube river. Fluffy towels. The fresh and crisp linen. It was noisy in the evening, but then the music stopped and it was really good and quiet. We had a room with no balcony.
We really enjoyed the restaurant of the Bononia Hotel. We had the pleasure of meeting Alexander who served us very well and provided useful information about the menu and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed the cheese croquettes served with blueberry jam. Yummy food! The next day, we also had breakfast. Delicious food, great atmosphere, lovely view of the Danube river, good service.
The elevator is extremely small. We barely fit in it, my husband and I and our little girl, who's only 5 months old. We are fairly built, not fat or obese.
Unfortunately, we weren't able to open the window during the night. The AC was working, but travelling with a small baby, you can't always use it ... Therefore, it was like sleeping in a sauna 😔
The size of the bathroom was shocking. Extremely small. It is good for one night, a transit hotel. Fair value for the money... Even though the room was pretty small, we would come back and ask for a room with a balcony and a larger bed.
