The best breakfast I’ve had! A lovely team running a lovely hostel.

A lovely welcome despite our silly arrival time of 2am, and the whole team that we met were lovely. Breakfast was exceptionally and very plentiful, setting us up for pretty much the whole day. Being a 25 min walk/10 min bus ride to the city is ideal - away from the business, but easy to access. Buses are free, also. Air conditioning was spot on, the room was well kept and clean, and the shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Mosquitoes nets on all doors/windows were a nice reassurance (I react badly), although on our visit were fortunately unnecessary.

The hostel itself is faultless. Upon arrival at 2am, there was clearly an event going on down towards the main city going on until nearer 3am. This is obviously outside of the control of the hostel, and the aircon drowned a lot of noise out too, however it might be worth (like for any trip) sticking a set of earplugs in your kit bag. Keep in mind that Serbia in summer draws the evenings out due to the often excessive heat of the day!

Stunning and different

From the arrival, very early in the morning about 7am, we was made to feel very welcome. The staff so helpful and friendly, we enjoyed sitting with them and hearing local knowledge. It is very quite and a stunning place to do something a little different, we really enjoyed our stay. There are free buses close by to access the town and lots of culture around that you can get to on the free buses. Can't thank the staff enough for the hospitality they offered my family. The breakfast was beautiful and really enjoyable. Its an amazing place to visit and stay in. Thank you very much 😊

Gorgeous breakfast in a lovely setting

The place itself was really lovely and a unique setting our kids really enjoyed. The yummy breakfast out on the deck was a highlight.

Unfortunately there was a festival in the park next door that significantly impacted our stay due to noise, having to walk a long way to get round it and all the lovely eating places in the front being closed. The host did help us with this issue when we arrived. However I would recommend checking if anything is happening in the park before booking. The sofa bed would benefit from a mattress topper as it was very hard.

Great for the price

The staff, including cat Tosha, is great and helpful. Breakfast is homecooked and plentiful and the view is great.

The location is not super as its in Novi Beograd, you will need a car or taxi to go anywhere at all. On our first night, there was a private party at the neighbours that was ridiculously loud, but it was out of the hands of the owners.

Fun and unique, with the sweetest owners/staff.

This was such a special place to stay. The staff/owners went above and beyond to be helpful and kind. It is indeed hostal style, with bunk beds, lovely hang out living room and deck and a resident cat. The breakfast and strong coffee were made on the spot, filling and delicious, served on the deck. It felt unique to be staying literally in a park on a river, while 15 minutes on a bus (two stops) we were in a main part of a bustling city (public transport is free in Belgrade). It is also a close walk or bus to Zemun, kayaking and some funky riverside restaurants. Wholeheartedly recommend.

The bathroom wasn't the best, as the shower head didn't have anything to connect to, and the bathroom window wasn't frosted and looked directly onto the shower

Good cheap hotel with a very ascetic breakfast and inattentive staff

Very good cheap hotel located in a nice part of city. Great value for the money paid in general.

The breakfast included in the price is almost nothing: tea and a small peace of pie, and that's all. My friend staying with me got to the breakfast an hour later and he's got a small yogurt as well, but I hadn't. In a nearby ArkaBarka hotel with similar prices breakfast is much better. Also, rooms are really small. Well, it seems normal for the price paid, but in double rooms it'd be better to place one bed above the other and thus free some space for the people living in the room. And finally, small window in the bathroom is located so that the ones living in the next hotel can easily see the one undressing before taking shower. Well, it's not a problem for me, but can be a problem for some others. Light curtain could easily solve it.

Superb

Very friendly personnel, welcome drinks, map and city guide there are not only good surprises you can experience there. I loved breakfast on the terrace and local specialities. Location - 2 bus stops from city center

The breakfast is good, although you have to wait for an hour about it. The view is quite nice. The personnel is friendly.

The balcony has not been cleaned since the opening of the hostel - spider webs everywhere. Generally it was dirty. The bath tube was broken as well as the mosquito net on the balcony. No fridge in the hostel. Parking is far away from the hostel.

Definitely a good option.

A really cute hostel with friendly staff. I had a single room and it was perfect for one person. Breakfasts were delicious and filled me up for lunch too. Location is pretty good although away from the main things that I wanted to do so walked (you could take a bus).

The garbage in the river is a little off-putting. Also, I had my window open for cooler temps but the local bars did keep me up (I’m a light sleeper). Also, my shower holder was broken so had to improvise.

everything was perfect. they moved me to a bigger room with amazing balcony and river view for free. breakfasts were homemade, delicious and the portions were huge. the staff is amazingly friendly. to get to the old town just hop on the bus and in 10 minutes you are near main pedestrian street.

I'd stay there again, if I returned to belgrade for holidays.

Staff war so nice. Wonderful view, especially from the terrace and my private balcony. Breakfast was really good. I had breakfast twice and the offer was completely different on both days. But be aware: coffee ist kind of mocca, with coffee powder inside the cup. The owner offered to give me a ride to my next destination, which was a very frienly gesture and for me quite convenient.

At first, I could not find the location, as it is situated behind a park. For it was raining heavily, I could not walk through the park but had to pull my suitcase around it, which is quite some distance from the airport-busstop. On the second evening there were very loud guests in the hallway - as I realized the next mornig: there was a group of young men, who had caused that noise. The rooms are poorly soundproofed.

We really enjoyed our stay in that quiet and peaceful place. The rooms of the hostel are simple but clean and comfortable. Very good home-made breakfast for a fair price. In the evenings you can sit outside with a cold drink watching the sunset over the Danube. If you enjoy longer strolls, you can walk to the city centre and to Zemun. Very friendly and helpful staff.
