Good price, kind people, great view, not central but convenient location, could have been cleaner.

View was priceless, the calm and quiet is unmatched by any city hotel. The location was great, not quite in the city but easily accessible - and right on the route of the airport-city bus. We were able to comfortably communicate in English with the staff and they were incredibly kind and attentive. Our room was easy to warm up with the AC, we didn't use the heater at all. The price was very reasonable too! You can have breakfast by the river and it's so quiet and serene in the morning. They will 100% think you're insane for sitting outdoors in winter and rush with a blanket to put over your legs (the staff was very considerate, like I mentioned). The wifi signal was great everywhere inside the hotel too! Bonus point for the ducks! 🦆

Our room didn't have a fridge, so we had to use the one in the common kitchen. Our sheets were not changed once during our stay and we were asked whether we wanted the room to be cleaned on day 2 of our 4-day stay, maybe a doorknob note could be left in the rooms to communicate whether the room should be cleaned or not. The wooden steps and bridge to hotel entrance are very dangerous when slippery. I fell twice unfortunately.

Nice place

Nice idea of being on the waterfront. Plenty of sleeping space in the room.

There was pretty cold, heating was not working. Only way to warm up was AC but it is loud to sleep with. Floor in the bathroom was a bit tired. Breakfast lacked selection but was pretty nice otherwise. My wife fell on the way out because of slippery boards.

It's been wonderful expreince

We stayed at B&B Charlie as six families, 20 people in total. The hotel’s location along the Danube River is stunning, offering a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Big thanks to Vlademir for answering all our questions before arrival, and to Jovan for supporting us throughout our stay. The breakfast was tasty and sufficient, and both the rooms and overall cleanliness were very good. As a B&B concept, the hotel is simple and not luxurious, but it provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. In terms of price–performance, it exceeded our expectations. Although it’s only four bus stops (about 15 minutes) from the city center, the hotel offers a quiet, nature-filled environment by the river. For those who prefer a cozy place that feels like home rather than luxury, this hotel is perfect. If I visit Belgrade again, I would definitely stay at B&B Charlie. It was an excellent experience in every way.

Good quiet location right near the big park and by the water, nice staff and pretty good room, clean and cool shower!

The room was not ready when we came, but we drink really tasty beer while we’re waiting. Then they could not find the key from the room for a while, so we waited little more. It becomes that other guest took the key with him.

A special, peaceful place to stay

Brilliant location right by the river. We were lucky that the taxi driver dropped us off at the ramp, given the road up to it is pedestrians only! Otherwise it would have been a 5-10 minute walk with a heavy case, which is fine!

Overall a pleasant stay on the river.

The view from the room of the river was amazing and also the shared terrace, where you can have breakfast or a drink was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and polite.

The signposts in front of the accommodation could be improved, to help to find the place. The beds were uncomfortable and very squeaky. There is no parking. There was loud music from some party/ disco until 4am, keeping us awake.

Unique stay with beautiful sunsets

This boatel is a very unique stay, it is floating on the Danube River, which makes it very special. Waking up and seeing nature is extremely calming. The sunsets from the deck are magnificent. The bed was comfy, and the rooms have AC (and drinking water). Breakfast is a traditional Balkan - don't have high expectations, but it satisfies. The staff is extremely friendly and comforting, and the wifi was working superbly. I had a great stay! When you arrive, ask the cab driver to drop you off at the bus station; it is a short 3-minute walk to the boatel.

Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, as the doors are thin and you can hear the noise from downstairs. Use bug spray/ remedy if you are coming to your accommodation around sunset, but no issues inside.

Very hard to find the place,so dark and scary, very slippery bridge, be very careful

There was a bridge to the property , it was so slippery and freezing , I felt down and hurt my hand, the good is that it wasn’t down the water. Definitely not recommend, it wasn’t safety

Great people, great ducks

Sleeping next to the river is a great way to spend your nights in Belgrade, they have the cutest ducks you have ever seen. The deluxe room was spacious and very classy. Breakfast was well prepared and Juan and the rest of the staff were so nice all along the stay. We would definitely repeat!

A more visible sign would be appreciated, the first time it took us a little to find the place.

Unique Boat Experience with Friendly Service and Stunning Views, but Parking Is a Bit of a Hassle

Staying on a boat was a unique and enjoyable experience, and the gentle rocking of the boat added to the charm. The owners (and presumably the owner's father) were very friendly and provided excellent service. Breakfast, though modest due to the limited space, was tasty and offered an unforgettable view. Sleeping on the boat was very pleasant, and the children loved it. The location is fantastic for exploring the surrounding area on foot.

Parking is a bit of a walk away from the boat, so it’s necessary to transport your belongings by foot. We had a cart from our beach trip, which made it easier, but otherwise, a wheeled suitcase would be helpful for moving items from the car across the asphalt.

Clean, warm, close to the city, free parking close by. Key points: the amazing view/location and the great staff. Everyone is friendly, polite and very helpful with everything. Having breakfast by the river makes it also an amazing getaway.

Staff and waking up in the river.

There wasn't TV in the room. Although verg helpfull statf the brekfast was really poor. Biggest problem is Parking. U have to walk 1.1 km from parking spot to hotel with your luggages. There is no other way. Be aware of this.

An amazing opportunity to stay overnight on the river, close to the city center

A great vibe in the area with boatels next to each other in line on a river, located in a quiet area of the city surrounded by an attractive park. We particularly liked the terrace overlooking the river and the location.

The room booked was supposed to be a double bed with an extra bed. It occured to be 4 single beds instead

Great location next to the Danube. But bring anti mosquito spray if you want to sit outside. Staff very friendly. Bus 15 and 85 go to the city center - it is about 3 stops away.

It was very loud during the night, you could here the disco beats from other locations until early in the morning. However, this is not something the hostel is responsible for.

Relax just outside Belgrade center

There really is a fresh breeze from the river. Very relaxing to look onto the water. Cozy setup with the sun deck outside. Close to a fitness trail just outside. Accommodating, helpful hosts.

Could sweep the terrace better. Its a 45min walk to the center, but I think its worth it.

Close to the city center, lots of busses from/to the airport and cinty center at maximum 5 minutes walk, clean rooms, nice view over the Danube river, super friendly and helpfull staff.

Can be a little noisy during night time due to the club boats nearby, but its not that distrubing, we were able to sleep.

The boat was almost every bit as amazing as we imagined. We had one room for 5 and a double room. The double room was perfect in every respect. Breakfast was nice although it ran a little late. But staff was super friendly and made up for it. We'll definitely come back.

The 5-bed-room was a little small and its bathroom stuffy and smelly. Other than that there really wasn't anything we didn't like. There is no parking close by and you can't even get close with the car, so we had to carry everything from and to a parking lot farther away.
