Accueil chaleureux.

It was a Chateau. A poorly maintained Chateau, but a Chateau in any case and the perfect place to spend our last night in France. Mostly I liked its proximity to Sancerre and one of the great restaurants of France.
It was pretty rundown and the grounds need a lot of loving care. It was obviously something to behold decades ago, but has become too much for the owners now. Nevertheless, when you’re on vacation, you make the best of everything and the people we met — the owner and the groundskeeper, I believe, were wonderful and very sweet.
