The perfectly clean rooms and very comfy beds!

We loved everything

Breakfast was lovely. Comfortable bedrooms Pleasant sitting in garden for drinks etc Lovely relaxed &quiet stay. Owners delightful.

Would be nice to have space inside to eat breakfast together with our friends. But it didn’t spoil anything

Located very close to the Porterhouse pub, which was convenient for our evening meal. There was plenty of space to park and the rooms were arranged in a way that meant we could not hear the other guests. We were there in a heatwave, the hottest day on record. Our host had thoughtfully placed a folded sheet on the bed, so that we could remove the duvet and sleep instead under the sheet. Next morning, Mick brought breakfast to our room ('chipolatas' in the Full English turned out to be one sausage). The bed was comfy and we slept well initially...

... We were awoken at 4.30 am by cats caterwauling right outside our open window. Fruit and yogurt was not on the breakfast menu. The shower was very weak, the cubicle small and the plastic floor of its tray quite bendy. The place is hard to find when moving in traffic, as there is no clear sign outside. We had to park at the pub and walk back to find it. I was told this was because it is a listed building with regulations on signage, but this could have been remedied with written instructions such as 'it is opposite...' This was one of four places we stayed at on our trip, and compared to the others it was overpriced by at least £20.

My son was playing v Cambridge and it was a perfect location for this. The owner was very polite and helpful The room was clean and tidy Lovely breakfast delivered to the room.

Shower was very low in pressure TV is very small Internet was in and out.
