Lovely small family run business
Very friendly staff. Lovely meal in restaurant. Self- serve breakfast was perfectly OK. Bed was huge and comfortable. Room was good temperature. Plenty of parking.

Lovely little stay
Was lovely and pretty. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Was clean, nicely decorated, plenty of facilities (towels, extra pillows, mini soaps/showed gel/ hair dryer ) and also the communal kitchen was a lovely touch to be able to help your self to - selection of tea and coffee, cold drinks like orange juice and breakfasts, snacks and continental breakfast included Will stay again
The beds were big and comfy but where our request was a double it was 2 singles pushed together and there was an obvious dip in the middle were they met. But this is a minimal thing ans didn't affect our stay

A lovely warm and welcoming place for a stop off on our journey
The pub is cosy with separation between drinking and dining areas. Food was lovely. And excellent alcohol free beer on draft. Room was comfortable- perfect for overnight stop. We loved the communal kitchen and chance to make tea. We felt very well looked after by all of the staff. The whole place felt welcoming with good attention to detail. If we are passing this way again it will be our go to place to stay. Lovely run in the morning too!

Road noise was irritating but got used to it, but there were some very odd banging / clanking noises during the night. Perhaps due to it being above a bar.

Perfect for visiting friends nearby. Not disturb by the pub downstairs at all.
Convenient. Quite. Loved the food downstairs in the pub. Good choice of food in the Breakfast room. Room was clean & catered for all our needs.

Exceptional stay, perfect staff
The breakfast and on site facilities were the best we have encountered in recent months. The kitchen set up for breakfast was perfect. The food in the restaurant was very good too.
