We loved that we could see Mt Fuji from the road. We tried the onsen and it was wonderful. Also we managed to walk to a beautiful shrine just down the road.

The hotel has a great view of Mount Fuji to the front. The rooms are small and a little dated, but they are clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was buffet style, mostly Japanese but with a small continental selection. The location is great, not directly in the town but great views over the lake towards mount Fuji, there is also a free shuttle bus to the town that you can book in on at reception.
It’s a little dated, but we didn’t really spend that much in the room anyway.
