Lovely place to stay but make sure you book the right chalet
Great ski in/out location (if you are in the right chalet). We had a charming room with all that we needed and a great view. Nice touch was a little box of things that you would need (washing up things, dishwasher tablets etc.etc.). Spa area was very good (sauna, steam room, hot tub and pool) and accessible by lift. The staff were excellent - friendly and very competent. Easy walk into town where there is a good variety of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Wifi was good (though only one device pp) and there was English TV (BBC1&2 plus Channel 4)
Although it is mentioned on the booking site, we didn't really appreciate that the The Chalet Belles Pistes (which we had booked) is in fact a completely separate chalet on a different street where access to the mountain is harder and access to the spa /gym involves walking along the road outside - the other chalets (photographed) are part of the main complex and the spa can be accessed without going outside and the piste access is much easier. Although the apartment that we had booked was lovely, we chose to negotiate a different room as we thought that access from The Chalet Belles Pistes would discourage us from using the facilities of the main building.
