A cozy and aestetic apartment with a really welcoming hostess

The hostess is wonderful and very welcoming. She welcomed us personally, showed us around, and gave our daughters (very tasty swiss army) chocolate. The apartment was very comfortable, clean, furnished with special care and beautiful details. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and we could park our car next to the building.

The view from the window is of a gas station, but the apartment is so cozy with thick curtains that it did not prevent us from feeling comfortable and welcome.

A great stopover between Zurich and the mountains

Melanie was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The rooms were large and comfortable, with the bonus of several English TV channels. Great shower. The Haus is located next to a petrol station, which isn’t the best bit, but there are lovely mountain views and it is very quiet. We wanted somewhere a short distance from Zurich but still near the mountains and this proved to be a very convenient stopover. Breakfast was served upstairs, with plenty of choice of breads, cheeses, only one homemade jam (the others were the usual plastic tubs). Old fashioned flowery tea cups and saucers which was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

Bottled water was provided in the rooms, but only fizzy. Still water would have been better, or at least a choice. Otherwise, all good.

Melanie was a lovely host - generous and beautiful stay with the best breakfast! We wish we were staying a week! The apartment was large and beautifully furnished and Melanie was very generous with information. Make sure you stay for breakfast! Delicious lots of choices and very generous.

Excellent facilities but arrive before 8pm or you will be made to feel unwelcome

Very clean and well provided with facilities and coffee maker etc. Quiet and comfortable

The owner was clearly unhappy with me arriving later than 8pm. There was nothing I could do to amend this because of my limited flight times. She mentioned several times in email and again in person. Yet there is a coded lockbox, so I didn’t see the problem.

Breakfast very good. Location excellent - a very easy 15 minute stroll from the Railway station. Super friendly host - I was made to feel very welcome, despite not being able to speak the local language.

Unexpected healing time

I needed an overnight stay on the way to Zürich and chose BnB Haus Weibel based on location and affordable pricing. I did not however expect the stay to feel so pleasant and healing. The lady of the house was very friendly and helpful. The room and other facilities clean and taken care of. The garden-roof-terrace was an absolute delight in the evening to have a snack and read and very refreshing in the morning.

Melanie was incredibly warm and welcoming. The room was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, reflecting her care and attention. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices. Melanie was also more than happy to share travel tips. Everything about our stay was perfect.

I was extremely surprised to find a coffee machine and a kettle in just a room with a shared bath. The lady who runs this place was very friendly and provided rich breakfast for a moderate price even when I was the only guest who requested it.

Quiet, quaint and clean! Great stay all around.

This was one of the best stays we had on this trip. The rooms were sizable and extremely well equipped. Bedding was great, and the rooms were clean. Well equipped kitchen and the fridge was stocked with drinks. Very quiet. Melanie was a wonderful host with great suggestions for restaurants with regional food. She even made hard to get reservations for us. I recommend the breakfast too!

It was super clean, the beds were comfy and the people were friendly and very accommodating! They seemingly thought of EVERYTHING - there where even rugs and pillows for the rooftop terrace to be used. Fairly close to the train station, right across the road from the supermarket and the rooftop terrace has a stunning view of the mountains and valley! Would definitely recommend to anyone

Excellent bed and breakfast

Apartment was comfortable, very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was right across the street from a grocery store which was convenient. The host/owner was very accomodating and super nice. She even put out toys in our room for our 2 year old daughter which was very thoughtful. We had a wonderful stay!

Very nice place with a friendly host; large room and nicely equipped kitchen; parking in front of the house and many shops + restaurants nearby; many toys and books kept the kids busy :-)
