The hotel location was excellent. There was another restaurant business at the hotel, which was very busy, despite the high food prices in this area. All ways of making money are utilised, which is, somewhat restrictive for passers by. All sights were within easy walking distance, as was the tram, which is very useful, with an Istanbul travel card, to see all of Istanbul, not just the locality. The room size was good, and the extra third bed was not required. The hotel owner was friendly, the breakfast adequate if the same every day. Not a cooked meal, but a pre-prepared one. The price of this room was OK for what was available.

The bathroom was a disaster! There was black mould on the ceiling ( health hazard ) caused I expect by persons NOT opening the bathroom window, which was the only means of ventilation. The bath/shower access was up a step and over into a deep ceramic tiled bath. Again a hazard, and I slipped badly once. The water pressure to the shower and sink tap was too high, causing either leakage ( shower head ) or splashing when turning on the tap. The room we were allocated was up a couple of steep flights of stairs. NOT good for elderly people!!! Not good with heavy luggage. There was no reception, sitting area to relax out of the room, but still in the hotel. This should not really be termed a hotel, more a B&B.

The location is great . The restaurant was nice as well. The sheets were very clean. The mattress was with big stains that my kids refused to use them.

First the room was soooo small i didn’t even have space to pray. It didn’t have stairs and my room was in the 3d floor so I had to bring my luggage’s up and down alone with my 2 little kids. I asked for water since it didn’t have one single bottle . And they sold me a bottle of water for 160 Turkish lira. We called the hotel prior, I needed an extra bed for one more kid. They never answered neither me or booking.com and of course they were not helpful on site as well. They were aware that I had to do check out early because my flight for the next destination was at 10AM and it didn’t have breakfast at least for my kids. They offered to help me with the taxi and I was told that the price was increased in the last moment and the driver didn’t touch neither one of the luggages to put them in the taxi. This is the first time in my life i didn’t tip.
