Quirky Gastehaus in beautiful town.

Beautiful quirky building/room. Spacious and clean. Bottle of water was a nice gesture. Easy parking in the public car park opposite the Gastehaus. Right in the centre of the wonderful picturesque town Adenau. Exceptional Breakfast, high quality with a lot of variety. Great coffee. Friendly helpful staff.

Checking in/out is in the Hotel, not the Gastehaus, 200 m apart. Not far, just to bear that in mind if arriving late and look at the pictures with the instructions! There was a huge dog in a confined breakfast area which is uncomfortable if you are not a dog lover or have an alergy to animal fur. Also for food hygene reasons.

Highly recommended location for Nurburgring

Excellent breakfast. Great location. We had dinner there as well which was also very good.

It’s a shame our apartment didn’t have a second bathroom or at least a separate one as the only we had could only be accessed by going into the bedroom of one of the party members.

My recomendation!

Perfect location in the center of downtown. Very clean. A lot of space in rooms.

Parking place is very short and for a few cars only. To eat the breakfest you need to go to other facility. Not so comfortbale but with this price level acceptable.

I must say that we did not stay in "Zum Wilden Schwein" as we were offered move to Blaue Ecke, which is probably same owner. The "Zum Wilden Schwein" was completely closed in this period of year and looks from outside as aged property. We gor bugger room, but not two separate beds. Two separate beds was also reason why I selected originally "Zum Wilden Schwein". However I must say that room at Blaue Ecke was nice and there was nothing to complain about.

Nothing really, except that offered breakfast certainly had not a value of 11 euro.

Niedliches kleines Zimmer . Heizung war an als wir ankamen , duschzeug und Handtücher waren vorhanden .

Fenster sind etwas undicht sodass kalte Luft reinzog aber nur gering und vermutlich auch nur weil wir im Vorfeld schon durchgefroren waren

Heel uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. We kregen een upgrade van het gastenverblijf naar het hotel, waar we ook de auto konden parkeren. Dat was een uitstekende service. Verder goed uitgangspunt voor wandelingen.

Ein entspannter Aufenthalt in einem schönen modernen Hotel. Empfehlen wir gerne weiter.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns sehr über ein Upgrade gefreut, so dass wir im Hotel Blaue Ecke und nicht im Gästehaus untergebracht wurden. Die Zimmer liegen nicht im wunderschönen historischen Haus, sondern im angrenzenden Gebäude und sind modern und komfortabel. Im historischen Haus ist das schön eingerichtete einladende Restaurant und dort wurde auch das Frühstück eingenommen. Für unseren Hund standen im Zimmer Näpfe bereit. Alle Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, die Matratzen und die Dusche sehr gut. Das Frühstück war gut und es gab genügend zur Auswahl. Es gibt im Hotel sehr gutes, kostenfreies WLAN.

Wir haben nichts auszusetzen.

Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Frühstück war richtig super, Personal sehr freundlich, Zimmer schön, Betten gut, alles sehr sauber. Hatten ursprünglich das Gästehaus gebucht, welches ca 300 m entfernt liegt, aber ein Upgrate ins Haupthaus bekommen :)

Eine Programmliste für das Fernsehn wäre super, da die Programme kreuz und quer liegen und man sich ewig durchklicken muss. Sonst nix zu meckern

La douche chaude et le lit presque confortable

La moquette était sale. Les vitres en simple vitrage laissaient passer tout le froid il devait faire meme pas 10 degrés dans la chambre. Tu dois aller chercher ta clef a 200 mètres et trouver par toi-même l'entrée de "l'hôtel " qui au final est juste une extension de l'hôtel car il n'y a que des chambres. Aucune indication pour le départ du genre ou laisser ta clef et autres. Bref déçu et même si la chambre n'est pas chère, au vu de la prestation c'est déjà bien trop chère. Mr ou Mme les propriétaires, vouloir faire de l'argent est une bonne chose mais le faire bien en est une autre.

Die Lage des Hotels war sehr schön. Die Zimmer waren solide ausgestattet.

Beim Frühstück gab es leider irgendwann keine Brötchen mehr und kein Wasser.

Bij incheck niet bekend dat je bij het hotel moest inchecken een paar 100 meter verderop dan het adres op de booming. Dat was wat onduidelijk maar verder geen bezwaar.

Wunderbar

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, etwas außergewöhnlich das die Rezeption in einem ganz anderen Gebäude ist, was man tatsächlich suchen muss. Aber ansonsten sehr gut. Frühstück war Mega gut. Allerdings auch in einem anderen Gebäude.

Es gab nix was uns nicht gefallen hat, oder was ein Punkt wäre hier nicht mehr her zukommen.

Es ist noch ein ganz kleines Stück Luft nach oben

Die Unterkunft im Gästehaus war für diese Preisklasse gut. Das hervorragendsten waren die Betten. Man konnte wunderbar drin schlafen, ohne am nächsten Morgen mit einem schmerzenden Rücken aufzustehen. Die Lage des Gästehauses ist schön zentral, so dass man Lokalitäten auf kurzem Wege erreichen konnte.

Negativ fanden wir (leider) die Ränder und Ecken der Duschwanne. Da könnte in der Zukunft mehr Augenmerk drauf gerichtet werden. Auch funktionierte die Abluft nicht. Das ist aber sehr wichtig, da der Raum kein Fenster zur Lüftung hat. Ein Dritter Mangel war, dass in dem Wohn-/Schlafraum keine Sitzgelegenheiten vorhanden waren. Diese Dinge schmälern natürlich die positive Punktewertung. Trotzdem ist ein nochmaliger Besuch nicht ausgeschlossen, da wir überzeugt sind, dass die Belegschaft die Beanstandungen umgehend abstellen wird!

Voldoende

De ligging is goed naast een supermarkt en alle eet- en drinkgelegenheden midden in adenau. Voor de prijs krijg je een goedwerkende douche, een bed en een tv met een goed ontbijt.

De kamer ademde vervallenheid. Het bed dat verschrikkelijk kraakt, de verf van de radiator die volledig losliet, los stopcontact, oud behang en een tafeltje dat heel raar aan het voeteneind was gepositioneerd. Het is erg luidruchtig binnen dus we hadden geluk met buren die op tijd gingen slapen. Wij hebben fantastische ervaringen binnen het hotel zelf, dit aanbouwgedeelte was absoluut niet van dezelfde kwaliteit, echter is daar de prijs ook naar. Goed genoeg voor op doorreis, wil je langer blijven, boek dan in het hotel zelf. En eventjes goed kijken want het verschil is op booking niet super duidelijk weergegeven want wij dachten dat we in het hotel zelf verbleven.

Das Zimmer sollte ein Deluxe Doppelzimmer sein, leider war es das für mich nicht. die Fenster sind sehr alt, somit hört man alles, und nach 28 grad draussen hatte es drinnen 30 grad. Man hört jedes Auto vorbeifahren. draussen ist ein 24/7 Automat da gehts ab.. die ganze Nacht. Schade.
