After traveling for 3 weeks this hotel, one of our last, was a breath of fresh air - easy to find, easy parking, good communication at check in, everything worked. Decor tailored to race enthusiasts. Location was very close to racetrack and if it wasn’t raining we would have walked to it (2+ kms). We also ate dinner in the hotel restaurant which was very nice indeed.

Great location if you’re going to the ring. Breakfast was good, rooms clean and good space. Staff lovely. Above a good restaurant.

Beer prices seem to vary.. and sometimes were expensive. Parking can be tricky (but that’s a common problem in the area). Nothing major.

Loved the location, the staff, the rooms, and oh my gosh, the food! We will be back.

Nice breakfast, restaurant with a lot of charm, very friendly staff. Also great motorsports memorabilia around the place.

Location is fantastic for trips to Nurburg. The famous Pistenklaus restaurant is right next door with the gates to the ring just down the road.

Exceptional quality of rooms and public areas and 3+/4 star rating more appropriate. I regularly staying Valk hotels in Holland and Germany and this is up with the best of Valk!!✅👍 Friendly helpful staff at reception, dining room and room cleaning. Good free parking. There is nothing to fault and I thoroughly recommend

The location -- we woke up to the sound of cars racing around the Norschleife, which is thrilling (for some!). Lots of parking and a restaurant of repute within the hotel. Breakfast is absoutely superb.

For couples... room advertised as a LARGE DOUBLE and TWO SINGLES. We were given four singles and they tried to convince me that in Germany, a large double is actually two singles pushed together! However... there are separate bedsheets and quilts, so clearly they were just defending themselves and refused any goodwill gesture or acknowledgment of my greivance. The disappointment for me is that when I raised this issue, it was presented as MY problem, rather than acknowledging how the room as advertised and paid for in full, was incorrect and therefore, it was reasonable and understable that I would be aggreived by this. Shaming the customer for raising a problem is not a suitable manner in which to recognised areas of improvement. This was from the owner, who was very curt in her manner and ended the conversation, which became adversarial, muttering at me in German -- which was frankly, insuling. For parents... the mezzanine walls and ceilings are painted white and the lights 'downstairs' are too bright, so it is almost impossible to read or remain active without keeping the children up. I would paint the walls/ceilings upstairs a darker colour to absorb the light and offer dimmers or less bright lights downstairs. Wifi in our room on the end of the building was almost non-existent, however 4G reception wasn't too bad if you have this option available to you via your mobile contract. The plughole in the sink was broken (but I fixed it, thanks to rudimentary plumbing knowledge) -- however, this raised questions about the cleaning/room inspection protocol. There seems to be a ladybird infestation in the rooms at this time of year. They're harmless enough but a little distracting when falling asleep.

Location and historical value.

The history of this hotel with the Nurburgring racers is incredible. The fact that the service is impeccable just adds to the lore. The restaurant is a must experience too.
