Fantastic Country Inn, located on the German side of the Rhine, the food is to die for.

I booked the Landgasthof Adler on short notice, price was good and the location is what I wanted, not in the town but on the outskirts. Check in was easy, staff was friendly and explained everything what we had to be aware of. Rooms are well appointed, beds are great, showers are spacious and have the newest appliances. The restaurant was fantastic, the food was next level. My family enjoyed staying at the Landgasthof Adler very much and I can recommend anybody that wants to stay in the German side of the Rhine.....highly recommended.

Nothing really, I love places like this, country pub, run by a family and the food is amazing. Recommend it 100%

Lovely family run hotel in a nice quiet village very close to the Rhine

We were upgraded free of charge from two singles to two doubles, which was a nice surprise. Very clean.

Very nice hotel in a quite area with excellent restaurant. I liked the possibility to park my bicycle safely in the property garage. Ideal for bike travellers. Also great locations to explore in the surroundings.

It’s a great place to spend a night when you are having a looong trip

The guesthouse is really cozy and the staff was very helpful and friendly. At first I was a bit disappointed it is located in the middle of nowhere and this hotels seems to be the only lively place around, everything else is basically dead silent. however, I took a walk into the city (10km both ways) and enjoyed the local trails. The room is basic, clean and has everything you need for one night stay.

The room doesn’t have AC but the building itself is old and doesn’t get hot in summer. I spend the night with a ventilator running and it was fine, I used earplugs to mitigate its noise

Fantastic hotel with a great restaurant

We stayed on the night of 18 January. Sparkling clean room with good facilities (modern bathroom with great shower). Innovative and delicious dinner in the restaurant at a reasonable price. Great, friendly service with willingness to explain menu items in English for us - our German is not great. Secure bike storage too.

It was a very comfy place, the breakfast was adequate for our needs, nice service and a very clean room. Colmar is about 30 min and Strasbourg about 1 hr, just perfect. For sure we will return next year.

The room was very nice and ideal for our stop over en route home. The restaurant was fantastic, lovely menu and amazing service. The guy in the restaurant spoke very good English and was very helpful in recommending wines etc. Would definitely stay here again. TOP MARKS ALL ROUND

Buon albergo con ristorante valido

L'hotel è posizionato in una strada tranquilla fuori paese. Accoglienza gentile e chiara in inglese. Noi abbiamo dormito nella dependance di fronte. Camera confortevole ma con bagno decisamente piccolo. Colazione buona con discreta offerta di the, pane eccellente, marmellate e salumi di buona qualità. Abbiamo usufruito anche del ristorante sia a pranzo appena arrivati che a cena la sera prima della partenza. Piatti tipici molto buoni e abbondanti.

I letti sono due singoli affiancati con il piumino nel sacco cosa a cui non eravamo preparati ma ci sta. Il problema sono i cuscini di piume dove si sprofonda e chi è abituato al cuscino classico fa veramente fatica a dormire. L'alternativa era un altro cuscino più piccolo ma ugualmente inconsistente.

Ottima scelta

L'hotel molto molto pulito e ben tenuto, in buona posizione per potersi spostare e visitare anche i paesi francesi come Colmar, Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr raggiungibili in 30/40 minuti circa. Infatti Breisach am Rhein é sul fiume Reno che divide la Germania dalla Francia.

Guter Landgasthof, so wie man es sich vorstellt

Keine Gelenheit einen Tee zu machen. Wir hatten im Gästehaus das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss. Raucht ein Gast vor der Türe, ist das Zimmer unbewohnbar, da aller Zigarettenrauch im Zimmer ist.

Hotel confortevole, pulito e molto vicino a Colmar, dispone di ampio parcheggio. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

L' unica cosa che vorrei segnalare è la scarsità di dolci alla colazione. Ci sono solo due tipi di marmellata, la Nutella, ma non ci sono biscotti, brioche o torte, va bene che loro sono abituati a mangiare salato a colazione però qualcosina in più per i turisti abituati al dolce potrebbe esserci. Ma questa è solo una piccolezza che mi sembra giusto segnalare

Bella struttura in un paesino tranquillo defilato dalla strada principale. Tutto perfettamente pulito gestito in maniera impeccabile. Camera accogliente e pulita. Buona colazione alla quale si può solo rimproverare di avere più “salato” che “dolce” nelle scelte ma ci stà. Parcheggio disponibile davanti all’hotel. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Ritorneremo.

El desayuno fantástico. El edificio, por si construcción típica, nos encantó y, al verlo iluminado por la noche, con la decoración navideña, nos terminó de conquistar. Muy tranquilo.
