Lovely hotel and lovely staff. So glad to see they are now dog friendly. Great bonus.

Friendly and helpful staff, nice ambience and great location with easy access to City Centre by taxi - only around 5.00 pounds each way depending on traffic. Would definitely stay again, however I would ask in advance to have the heating turned down. Sort out the cooked breakfast - mainly the "fried" bread, heat up the porridge a bit and then I would give it 5 stars :)

The room became really hot overnight and the next morning it was near impossible to get ready because of the heat. We just wanted out into the fresh air to cool down. Food wasn't very warm at breakfast and the soda and potato bread was terrible. Could not eat. Porridge was lovely but cold. Staff were lovely though and we had a really nice greeting when we arrived at the dining room.

Perfect location for a quiet getaway. Also , conveniently located to do the Derry City parkrun

The staff were v v pleasant & professional. The towels & bed linen were so luxurious . The toiletries had a beautiful scent & I was delighted to see reusable bottles for shampoo & hand wash. The library bat was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious

There is an offer on the hotel website , under FAQs , re being allowed a 1pm checkout if you booked lunch. This offer is seemingly unavailable so maybe remove mention of it from the website .

A very happy husband and wife

Ordered breakfast in room for a fee of £5. It was an outstanding Irish breakfast! Myself and my wife will be back. We left feeling totally rejuvenated. Thank you Everglades

Overall our stay was good with just a few minor issues.

Wide choice of dishes at breakfast. The ambience of the hotel was very inviting. The house keeping staff very helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Tables not cleared at breakfast without asking. No teaspoons at breakfast for tea without asking. Sour milk at the breakfast table. At breakfast there was both brown and white sugar cubes in the bowl, customers were using their fingers to select the cubes which was vey unhygienic. Requested a wake up call but never got one.

Very disappointed. During our stay we got woke up several times due to loud noises with guests shouting in the corridor. We tried ringing down to reception but the phone was out of order. The room was also cold during the night. Breakfast was also very poor!

Great hotel shocking bad sleep

Excellent hotel it's as usual all Hastings hotels good beds tidy clean.

The fact this is my second time booking through booking.com and each time I book they put me in the first room on the floor. This time 201 last time 101. Fact is both these rooms adjoin a boiler house or filtration room so you have constant noise all night and if you are a light sleeper like me you will not get 1 wink of sleep. I will never stay here again or at least never book through booking.com as they obvously give the the bad rooms

Absolute fantastic hotel, beautiful decor, amazing bedrooms with the comfiest of beds. The entire hotel is relaxing and welcoming with great food and drink. What makes this hotel unique is the amazing staff at front desk and bar/restaurant who are so accommodating and make you feel so welcome. Can't wait to return! Thank you!

A very relaxing & enjoyable stay

As a coeliac, the hotel manager went above and beyond to ensure I ate safely. He was friendly and very professional. The breakfast was vast, plentiful and beautiful. It was peaceful and relaxing. The hotel is very clean, staff are experienced, friendly and can’t do enough for you. My room was cleaned to a high standard & smelled clean. It was warm and very comfortable.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Recommend.

Location was great as it was close to the airport since we had a very early morning flight. But location into the city centre was a bit further out and taking the bus was a bit confusing - managed to get into the city centre but heading back to hotel was a mission therefore ended taking a uber back.

It was clean, elegant and conveniently located.

Rooms dont have AC so they can be hot and stuffy. We were told to open the windows but they are tiny and located behind the curtains, so it doesnt allow for airflow. The provided a fan, but the cords aren’t long enough to put to the window, which are again behind curtains so not helpful.
