Classic old hotel

Location is adjacent to the Nantes-Brest Canal. Easy walk to downtown Pontivy. Plenty of off-street parking. The breakfast was an ordinary but ample buffet:: croissants, bread, jam, yogurt, fruit cup, juice, coffee, milk. The wi-fi was good. The bar is popular with local men.

The rooms are tiny. There is no elevator.

An absolutely brilliant hotel. Very well located in lovely Pontivy, perfectly comfortable en-suite rooms, excellent private parking, great beer and best of all, the most friendly, accommodating and helpful staff for which one could ever wish. We only scratched them surface of our exploration of Brittany and we will be back for sure. Thank you to Amelie and all her colleagues - you made the trip really special for us, thank you so much :-). Phil.

Superb

Very clean. It is a basic but very nice typical family run hotel. The staff were all very friendly and breakfast very good. Restaurant next door very good and popular with the locals, good job we booked when we arrived.

It was a surprise that hotel doors locked at 9.30 and the bar had closed by then but we were out of season and we had a code to back door so could go out and let ourselves in whatever time we wanted.

Agréable étape à Pontivy

Gentillesse de l'accueil, grande chambre lumineuse, salle de bain propre et fonctionnelle (mais qui mériterait un tout petit effort de déco pour être raccord avec la jolie chambre), emplacement dans Pontivy (boulangerie toute proche pour les gourmands :)), grand parking

L'hôtel peut être un peu difficile à identifier car il s'appelle "Hôtel Robic" et non pas "Brit Hôtel" (voir les photos)

déçu par ce que j'ai trouvé

découverte d'un hôtel avec un côté désuet

l'accueil logistique : à mon arrivée vers 20h05- 20h15 ; découverte d'un hôtel sans lumière avec un accès par une cour arrière pas bien indiquée et avec un accès muni d'un digicode. le téléphone indiqué sur le panneau de devanture est non fonctionnel. il a fallu que je pense à ouvrit mon téléphone portable pour découvrir un sms envoyé à 19h30 m'informant la réception serait fermé, me donnant le n° du digicode et m'indiquant que les clés de la chambre étaient sur la porte. J'eusse préféré être informé par téléphone, au moins j'aurai été moins stressé à min arrivée. la chambre : j'eusse préféré connaitre le coté spartiate de la chambre à sa réservation ( lit 1 place, chambre très réduite, salle d'eau en plastique)
