Delightful family-run chanbres d'hote

Set right in the middle of an area of outstanding natural beauty, this is a small, family-run chambres d'hote. Immaculately clean and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, and an excellent on-site bar/restaurant serving a variety of excellent dishes. Our hosts, Larry and Rosanna, are charming and helpful. There was a cave to safely store our bicycles, and it is only a short distance off the EuroVelo 1/Velodyssee cycle routes.

Fantastic location and excellent value

The accommodation is in a fantastic situation in a village on the Brest Nante canal cycle route and just above the lake. Larry was really welcoming with a shed for the bikes. The room was very comfortable and clean with a good shower and plenty of hot water. It was very quiet at night. In the evening we went downstairs for an excellent steak, a bottle of wine and talked to the locals. All very good value!!

Very cycle friendly stop-over

We were made to feel so welcome when we arrived, with the owner carrying our cycle bags in, whilst we wheeled the bikes round to a safe store for them. The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed and everything we needed for the night (we are travelling very light) . We ate there too and enjoyed a very good, home-made 3 course dinner. The night was comfortable and undisturbed and the breakfast was excellent too. It was a perfect, welcoming and excellent value place to stay.

Super-friendly and helpful owners. Great location for cycling on the voie verte through Brittany. Large room nicely decorated felt luxurious. Facility to store bike inside and clean with hosepipe

Location in the village meant that the lake view was a bit distant (my fault for not looking at the map properly) but a great location for cyclists.

We slept like royalty in a King Sized bed, admired the view and ate at the local resturants (great food!) before taking

The service provided here is second to none. Truly, they are masters at making you feel welcome and appreciated, english is practiced fluently and Caurel (the town) is such a charming and welcoming place.

The building needs some work, but we didn’t find that it disturbed us at all

New owners, very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfy. Communal fridge and tea and coffee making facilities were a nice touch. A pleasant bar and garden with seating. Free parking outside. Good breakfast.

The room was a bit noisy with window on to the main road. The room, especially the bathroom, is going to be redecorated by the new owners and it felt a bit worn. No tv in the room, but one in the bar downstairs.

Great reception from the moment we arrived, so warm and friendly! Room was large and super comfortable. Owners speak really good English! Can not recommend highly enough! Stay if you are ever in the area.

Great B&B with excellent hosts

Great location, our room with en-suite was large and very comfortable. the hosts were excellent, friendly and very accommodating as we arrived much later than expected. We opted for dinner and weren’t disappointed. excellent value for money. The breakfast was really good with lots of choice.

We had a very warm welcome. The hosts were very friendly and willing to help us. They cooked an excellent meal for us. This location is perfect for a bike holiday: the Canal Brest-Nantes is nearby and we recommend it to cycle along.

Kleines Zimmer mit freundlichen Vermieterin

Freundlicher Empfang. Zimmer klein und eher einfach. Gute Dusche.

Im Zimmer und auch in der angeschlossenen Bar waren extrem viele Fliegen. Die Fliesen im Badezimmer waren zerbrochen. Das Fenster ließ sich nur ganz öffnen. Ein Bett stand direkt davor und daher zog es sehr. Vor dem Fenster war der Bürgersteig- ich war etwas ängstlich, das Fenster Nachts zu öffnen . Beim Frühstück standen Brot und Kuchen unabgedeckt und dass war für die vielen Fliegen eine Freude.

romantische locatie in de heuvels boven meer van Guerledan

de hartelijkheidvan de eigenaars tegenover hun gasten. ook heel leuk dat onder het hotel een idyllisch restaurantje is met van dezelfde eignaars met vanuit de tuin een schtitterend uitzicht op het meer, en de hamburgers zijn daar echt top!

we hadden niet verwacht dat het een neorme klim is om met de fiets naar het dorpje Caurel te komen

Jolie petite auberge pour velo trip

Chambre très bien équipée et lit super confortable. Très jolie décoration dans la chambre avec les descentes de lit. Sdb très complète en équipement (sèche cheveux :-) ) Petit village paisible avec des propriétaires très gentils et flexibles.

Pas de vue direct sur le lac, c'est dommage. Douche qui mériterait un changement (flexible, pomme de douche incrustés de calcaire, poignées cassées), mais reste fonctionnelle Porte qui frottent le matin quand les gens sortent des chambres (une petite découpe permettrait de supprimer le problème).

Environnement très calme et agréable , des Hôtes charmants aux petits soins , 4 jours trop vite passés , au plaisir de revenir 🤩
