Lovely little spot in a beautiful old town.

The room was charming and cozy, the restaurant was fantastic. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating, spoke French, German, and English. We stayed at the end of the season, so the town was decorated for Christmas and very quiet. Tremendous value - I spent more on my dinner than on the room.

Room was very warm with no ability to adjust heating, so I opened the window. The floors in the common areas were a little sticky, but it is a restaurant, so truly no issue.

Excellent stay that makes me want to come again in the future!

Excellent location, very close to the Vianden Castle, helpful and friendly staff, clean and well maintained very old period property but with modern bathroom facilities. There’s a restaurant on the ground level and serves food and drinks.

Disappointed with the basics

Secure parking for motorcycle and a decent shower

Room was cramped but clean and of a good standard. The half rack of ribs were very dry and not worth the money and the breakfast was disappointing.

We always book twin beds as I travel with my son on two motorcycles. Even though we booked a twin room, the room provided was a double. Apparently, even though we booked a twin room...we didn't reserve a twin room?? Not sure how, but make sure you 'reserve' as well as booking.

A great find!

A lovely find in Vianden. Friendly staff and a lovely room which was very clean and bigger expected. A pretty view from the window. We had an evening meal here too which was gorgeous.

A real gem of a hotel in a lovely setting.

This is an absolutely lovely hotel! The room was modern and comfortable, but done in such a way as to retain the character of the beautiful building. Everyone who worked in the hotel and restaurant was extremely friendly and warm. The breakfast was really good, and the restaurant was excellent. (Normally I like to eat somewhere other than the hotel that I'm staying in, but the restaurant here was so appealing that we decided to book - I'm very glad we did!) This is one of the nicest and most memorable hotels I have stayed in.

We obviously had a different experience to some!

Great location and lovely welcome on check in by the very busy host. Bed very comfortable and clean. Motorbike parking available. Nice steak for dinner.

We had the room with the glass bathroom, light was broken,shower leaked and sink didn’t drain. Cooling unit didn’t work, they looked at it and said someone would mend later. It didn’t happen despite asking 3 times. Very surly waitress at dinner spoilt what should have been a lovely meal.

Would 100% stay again

We arrived from Rotterdam on our motorbikes very wet. Within 10 minutes our bikes had been locked in their garage and we were unloaded and in our room. The Auberge is a stunning building and our room was warm and cosy. It over looked the road but there wasnt much road noise until the village started to wake up in the morning but we did sleep with the window open. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind, nothing was too much trouble for them including the Irish coffees while we dried off. We ate in the restaurant that night and the food was great.

Beautiful romantic location for couples and families alike.

Just the most picturesque location and a lovely rustic hotel! The food there is also superb. Amazing dinner, worth every penny. I recommend this location for anyone looking for a special short getaway.

There is no lift, so travel light. If, like us, it's an in-between stay, pack an overnight bag, and leave the big suitcase in the car ;). The mattress was a bit too soft in one of our rooms, but everyone has their preference!

A wonderful stay in Vianden - from comfort in the cozy room to food and service in the restaurant.

A great location in the center of town, less than 10 minutes walk to all Vianden historic sites. The room, the restaurant and staff were all superb.

One of the two rooms booked was overly warm due to the central heating of the historic building. We kept a window open to adapt.

Well located option.

If you're considering spending a night or two in Vianden, I highly recommend you do. The hotel is Located right by the bus stop! Super easy to reach from Luxembourg. Close to the castle walk up entrance too. It's interesting in that the inn is located above a very busy restaurant, so you must wander through the guests dining to reach your room. The gentleman who was seemingly always working was very kind.

Everything was great. It was really cold in our room, but we did stay end of February.

Needs some TLC

Have been travelling here for the last 7 years, and now we are reconised on arrival. The location is great, and the host always allows us to park our motorcycles in a garage for safety. It's a lovely place to stay and a great stop off before going to the euro tunnel from other parts of Europe. Food is always good.

Room had broken toilet seat that was not cleaned, and the carpet had not been vacuumed. There was no kettle or anything to drink in room.

The location, nice building, restaurant and food was very good.

As much as I appreciate the opportunity to store my motorcycle in the garage, the lady who helped me put it in just disappeared leaving me trying to lock the garage door on my own. As I was unable to do it, she said she'll lock it. When I got to the garage in the morning, the doors were opened all night. So, some of the staff could be a bit more attentive of the guest. Apart from that the room wasn't cleaned very well and the pillows were uncomfortable.

Loved it!

beautiful cozy room and hotel, the staff was welcoming and very nice, gave us our room early. Everything was perfect. The breakfast was ok, could have had more warm foods but other than that great coffee and pastry :) thank you!
