Hotel Heintz

Lovely stay in a fab location. Breakfast was excellent as well. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The honesty bar was a lovely touch when arriving later in the evening.

Would have been perfect if there was air conditioning in the rooms but understand this isn't always possible in such a historic building. Apart from that the stay was perfect.

Great hotel in an excellent location, right in the town centre and just a short walk from the castle. The secure motorcycle parking in the garage was a real bonus and gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and made a great base for exploring the area. I would definitely stay here again.

The only downside was the breakfast, which was very limited. I understand it’s a continental breakfast, but there is definitely plenty of room for improvement in terms of variety and selection.

Great location in to explore Vianden and the surrounding areas. Very nice comfy and clean hotel. Nice feel.

It’s very noisy! The cobbled streets are beautiful but the road is busier than you think and cars, vans start early in the morning and sounds like planes taking off as they rumble down the street. Also we sound one of our doors to have been left open by cleaning staff when returning to our room. The breakfast was nice but expensive. Had hoped the bar to have been open in the evening but it closed at 7:30.

The building was gorgeous! Really beautiful and felt historically kept up inside. The staff were friendly and pleasant, really like the whole vibe of the hotel.

Our room was right on the main road that goes past the hotel. Unfortunately it was quite warm and so in order for us to cool down the room we had to keep the windows open and the noise throughout the night and morning from the road was incredibly loud and made it difficult to sleep. There was a constant stream of cars and motorbikes. Would have been better to have one of the rooms away from this road.
