Great place, would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Location was superb, close to the centre of town with good eateries nearby. Parking for my motorcycle was a concern but found that they have a garage specifically for this - no extra charge! They even had a pump, chain lube WD40 for use too! The room was exquisitely furnished and super clean. Views from the balcony were amazing Staff were attentive and determined to ensure you enjoyed your stay. Breakfast was excellent

We payed to much for what we got and this is surely a one time visit !

The location of the hotel is good, the staff is friendly, the beds where good and the rooms where clean..and these are about the only good things i can say about hotel Heinz...

18€ per night just to place the car on the permissies of the hotel, unguarded without camera's or barrier...is expensive... Breakfast 15€ p/p for one mini croissant and two sandwiches with a few slides cheese and salami and two choices of jam (every morning the same) brought to the table, so no buffet, you eat what they give you...is expensive.. A shower where you barely fit in, and we are the slender size kind of people, you could not even turn yourself around in it ! Where the washing tablet was installed in the bedroom ! Instead of the bathroom... No minibar in the room and also no possibility to get anything to drink after 8pm ! But also no one at the reception or the bar after 8pm...i wander why they even had a bar.... This is not the hotel where you want to stay if you have other choices, believe me.

Better than expected for 3 stars

We stayed at Hotel Heintz and were pleasantly surprised. Although it is a 3-star hotel, the service feels more like a solid 4. The hotel is very quiet, which makes it an excellent place to get real rest – we slept wonderfully. Our junior suite had a beautiful view, which made the stay even more enjoyable. A tip for travelers: make sure to reserve a parking spot in advance, as spaces are limited and prepared individually for each guest. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which adds a lot to the overall pleasant impression.

Breakfast is not a buffet, but rather a fixed set menu that is brought to your table. It can be enjoyable, though of course it may or may not perfectly suit everyone’s taste. Also, smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises, including balconies.

Very clean, excellent location in town, walking distance to everything, including castle, friendliest staff (all of them!) I have ever experienced!

On a noisy street and had to keep windows open but air was very cool, even cold at night. But they had a fan which drowned out the noise (after 10 it was very quiet!).

Beautiful and authentic hotel near the castle.

Nice terrace facing a quiet hillside. Very pretty grounds for a hotel right in the village. Staff were all very kind and helpful. Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. We asked for and were provided a fan and a kettle for the room. The restored building is beautiful.

A charming family ran hotel with a warm welcome.

Location was fantastic for exploring beautiful Vianden. The staff were welcoming, thoughtful and polite. Beds were super comfy and the garden terrace was a great place to unwind and relax.

Our room was quite noisy with the traffic going by on the Main Street - not the hotels fault at all but if we returned I would book a garden room.

Gem of a Hotel

We loved this home away from home boutique type accommodation. Exceptionally clean, for the age of the historical building very tastefully renovated. The Man on reception was fantastic, couldn't do enough for us. We also managed to fluke parking in one of the spaces non paid parking beside the hotel. Bar on sight and ice cold beer very reasonable price

We would have loved tea coffee facilities in the room and also a small fridge. The hairdryer not powerful. The only major disappointment to an otherwise perfect stay was our early am check out. We knew reception wasn't open and had prepaid our bill, told by the lovely male on reception to leave the keys on the counter. We did this and one of the female staff stopped us and questioned our early check out. We assured her we had paid our bill, she told us we would have to wait so she could check. She couldn't get hold of her boss. We would never not pay a bill. Everything was paid at check in. Clearly she didn't work in reception and was trying to do the right thing by the hotel. It just made me feel like we had done something wrong. Otherwise an amazing stay

Nice Hotel within the town of Vianden

The Hotel Heinz is a lovely place to stay in a great location , very friendly family run hotel with a freshly prepared continental breakfast, limited parking spaces, ( please book in advance or email hotel) they kindly arranged an additional space which partially blocked in their family car over night. Would highly recommend staying here which is also a short walk from the famous Neuschwanstein Castle.

Lovely hotel, lovely town, great stay!

Location was amazing with easy access to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very nice. The on-site bar was surprisingly reasonably priced and the setting was beautiful.

The drive in was a bit tight, but we have a large car and the town is very old and not really designed for SUVs....this is no reflection on the hotel, who have a nice parking area around the back which you need to pre-book.

A Charming Hotel

The hotel is very quaint in a quaint village. Exactly what we were looking for. Our room was comfortable and clean. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good and plenty of food. The room did not have a coffee maker/kettle but we were able to get coffee from downstairs. They were also able to provide ice upon request. The hotel is located close to Vianden Castle and is walkable though a bit uphill to get there.

All in all a great stay both in terms of facilities, location and staff.

Beautiful property on a great location. Nice option to park in the back (for a cost, which makes sense considering the location) and great general facilities. Breakfast is worth it, the bar is superb. The room was clean and very comfortable.

For us the only downside was the layout of the shower; it is hardly possible to shower together, and if you are built big it is neigh on impossible to turn whilst under the shower.

Lovely place to stay

Room was very clean, daily refresh which was nice to come back to, nice little balcony with table and chairs. Shower was amazing. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Building is beautiful. The hotel is half way up a hill and streets cobbled. Great base for visiting Belgium and Germany. Vianden is beautiful and the views around the town are amazing. Lovely restaurants, we ate somewhere different every night. The buses and trains in Luxembourg are free for everyone to use, we travelled to Luxembourg City this way, all transport spotlessly clean and easy to use.

Car park is very small, only 6 or 7 spaces maybe. Book a parking space when you book a room. Local car park has max stay of 3 hours. We parked daily free at edge of town but a good 10 minute walk away

Although Bar was listed in Hotel facilities we were disappointed to find out that the Hotel including the bar closed at 8pm. Drinks were available if you planned ahead and ordered them to take to your room, but we would have preferred mixing and socialising with other guests.

Great cosy hotel, family run. Highly recommended by a good friend. Great for bikers, drying room available and unfortunately had to use it. Rooms very clean and spacious. Good breakfast. Very very affordable for this highly rated hotel. Wouldn't even bother looking for another hotel in the area. Pubs in Vianden are very good and a few nice restaurants.

Very nice and charming hotel! Our room was modern and spotless clean! The owners were very friendly, the staff speak multiple languages, breakfast was served on tables and was tasty. Reserving parking at the hotel is highly recommended, it is right downtown and public parking is further away, only a few lots and was always full.

A very warm and welcoming hotel in an excellent location. The staff were all very friendly and spoke multiple languages. The interconnecting family room was ideal for our family of 4. The breakfast was plentiful.
