Minor issue: water cooker in the room was fully plastic and could be replaced with a metal one.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning historical town

Really beautiful hotel in a stunning setting. We were just passing through for one night on motorbikes and really wanted to stay longer, but we will definitely come back to explore some more. The hotel and rooms were lovely and had everything needed. We were able to park our motorbikes in the garage downstairs and seemed a safe area. Hotel staff were really friendly and a nice restaurant downstairs.

The bathroom was small which wasn’t a problem for us, but it might be for some so I would check your room size. But don’t let that deter you from this beautiful hotel.

Perfect overnight stay, great room, food and sleep!

Everything, we arrived after a 5 hour drive (without much sleep the night before due to the worst stay at any property ever in Dover, England) Arrived at this beautiful town, so picturesque, with a lovely room, large, everything we needed, QUIET, great sleep, and I have to say we had the most beautiful meal too and reasonable price. As an overnight stay on our first night of our annual road trip, this place was the perfect stay and would honestly recommend it to anyone especially travelling like us. It also has parking. Just perfect!

Breakfast at the hotel was nice with plenty of options available. The staff were friendly. A small amount of parking was available outside the hotel but there was ample additional parking approx 100m down the road from the hotel.

The room was extremely warm to the point of being uncomfortable. The windows could be opened but we were on the basement/car park level so the couldn't be full opened wide. The bathroom felt like there was underfloor heating. We had a fan in our room but there wasn't one for the additional room (family room a joining). The fridge in the room was only cool and not cold, minor gripe but would have been nice given the warmth of the room. The room was a bit noisy in the evening and early morning, I think we were underneath the kitchen which may have added to the warmth.

One Night Stay !!!

Great little hotel for one night stay . Room extremely small and so hot as had no A/C but had a fan . So hot was uncomfortable. Lucky to get parking by hotel but would be hit and miss . Busy restaurant which is very popular . Breakfast was good in the morning.

The heat in room and size . Thought pillowcase on spare looked grubby . Flies by the hundreds !!!!-

Everything was lovely, of good quality, and so so clean. The room was small but nicely organized and functional. Bathroom was huge and so comfortable !

The mattresses were unfortunately way too soft and both our backs hurt a tad waking up.

Some nice rooms but we were unfortunate to have a room in the pointed roof with a second bedroom up the stairs further into the pointed roof, so not much effective floor space and kept banging our heads on the roof when getting in and out of bed.

Great Hotel we had a large room with views of the forest and town, very good breakfast and evening meal, the terrace is great for a beer after being on your bike all day

It said on the booking details only rooms without carpet are allowed dogs, our room had carpet and had a strong smell of dog

Vianden - Logis Hotel-Restaurant Petry

Characterful property with large rooms/ensuites. Good food and beer. Large patio. River to the rear just across a minor road. I was able to put my mcycle in the garage. Good storage for your clothes. Comfortable bed.

Some low road noise early in the morning from traffic but this is in Vianden and I think most hotels here would have the same issue. It's a beautiful town/location, so this was a minor issue that didn't spoil my stay. I'd certainly stay here again.

Pleasant Stay at Hotel Petry

We had a really nice stay at Hotel Petry. Breakfast had very broad selection of foods and we had dinner at the restaurant twice. The pizza is soooo good. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean.

The bedroom pillows were very flat and not very comfortable.

The hotel was in an excellent location, free secure parking. It was very clean and well laid out. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough to help you. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes a nice friendly atmosphere.

We stayed one night with our cat and it was great. Great location, very close to Vianden Castle and the Victor Hugo's Museum, for example. The Staff was very friendly. Breakfast lives up to its price. It offers a variety of items, although not of categories.

The TV is a bit old. It could be modern with streaming options, but according to my wife it's my fault for forgetting to bring the Chromecast. Second and last thing, I wish we were told that we had to bring our own towels to the wellness centre in the "twin hotel". We learned about that when we were already in the twin hotel, so we had to go back to get the towels and go back to the twin hotel again. There could be better communication and arrangement in that area.

We didn’t stay there.

Nothing. We didn’t stay there. The hotel double booked us and moved us to another hotel. The alternative hotel was further from the centre of town. It claimed to be a better hotel but it wasn’t the one we chose.

The toilet room was small and maybe put a warning that the floor is lower than the tub because when u step out it is not expected and could cause serious injury.

A really good hotel in a good location for exploring the area.

The room was big, very clean with an extremely comfy bed and the shower was excellent. We ate in the bistro and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Breakfast was like many French hotels a buffet but had everything you could want and the produce was very fresh. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful place we use to stopover en-route to France

Second stay at this great little hotel. Its a bit dated but the location is superb, rooms are comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The added bonus is the pizzeria attached to the hotel is exceptional - both in terms of quality and value.
