The evening meal and the breakfast were excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall the hotel exceeded our expectations.

Nice room , good facilities especially the fan as it was a hot night . Good shower

Lovely old building with characteristic features… set in a lovely garden setting.
Room was a little tired and dated and in need of a little tlc / makeover

The breakfast was very good.
The pork belly main course and sticky toffee pudding were very good.
The pillows were good.
The staff were very helpful.
The double bed was too small, the mattress too hard and the quilt too heavy.
The room (11) was quite dark and just looked out on a flat roof and walls.
We had a loud rumbling noise outside our window for several hours from the kitchen vent.
Nowhere nearby to have even a little walk, just lots of traffic.
