The hostel was homely and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The room was nice and has good lockers to store items and bags. I think it would be much better in summer when the outside is in use too.
It was a long walk to the centre of the city where most of the best things are located, especially at night when you can’t take the short cut through the mall. The walk back to the hostel is uphill so can be tiring

On Booking.com, the hotel appears to be located by the lake and has a beach. However, there is an additional charge for sunbeds and umbrellas. Guards walk around and collect €2.50 per person. We had to pay separately for each day. Therefore, it should be clearly stated in the hotel's description that there is an extra charge for using the beach.
Also, having the same breakfast every day was disappointing. The bread was often stale, and the items served were the same each day."

The staff were friendly and professional. The food was amazing.
The room was not clean. The double bed was not a double bed, there were 2 single beds pushed together and there was a large gap in the middle.
There was fresh mold growing on the AC, and it was loud enough that you could not sleep with it.
The property listed a free crib, but we had to bring our own because there was no crib at the property.
The pillows were filled with feathers and were coming out.
To get to the pool we had to go to a different hotel, it's not connected to the hotel we booked.
Even if you are a guest at the resort, you have to pay for a sun bed and the beach and at the pool.
The bathroom had a bathtub but the plug was removed so it was pointless to have. The shower head was dirty and broken. You have to wait for 2 to 3 minutes to get hot water and when you get it, it is unstable and goes from hot to cold all the time.
