Never again will we ever stay here!

The view that the balcony offered-the only positive thing!

The majority of the staff were rude, we didn’t have a fridge and when we approached them they said that it wouldn’t be rectified during our stay. The hotel was in dire state. The cleaning was just swapping the towels and making the bed . There was no iron available but ironing service you had to pay for extra! We didn’t use the swimming pool as they charged you for a chair there as well as on the beach!

It was a nice place to stay even in winter but I’d like to go back in the summer

The hostel was homely and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The room was nice and has good lockers to store items and bags. I think it would be much better in summer when the outside is in use too.

It was a long walk to the centre of the city where most of the best things are located, especially at night when you can’t take the short cut through the mall. The walk back to the hostel is uphill so can be tiring

On Booking.com, the hotel appears to be located by the lake and has a beach. However, there is an additional charge for sunbeds and umbrellas. Guards walk around and collect €2.50 per person. We had to pay separately for each day. Therefore, it should be clearly stated in the hotel's description that there is an extra charge for using the beach. Also, having the same breakfast every day was disappointing. The bread was often stale, and the items served were the same each day."

Disappointed by this "4 star" resort

The staff were friendly and professional. The food was amazing.

The room was not clean. The double bed was not a double bed, there were 2 single beds pushed together and there was a large gap in the middle. There was fresh mold growing on the AC, and it was loud enough that you could not sleep with it. The property listed a free crib, but we had to bring our own because there was no crib at the property. The pillows were filled with feathers and were coming out. To get to the pool we had to go to a different hotel, it's not connected to the hotel we booked. Even if you are a guest at the resort, you have to pay for a sun bed and the beach and at the pool. The bathroom had a bathtub but the plug was removed so it was pointless to have. The shower head was dirty and broken. You have to wait for 2 to 3 minutes to get hot water and when you get it, it is unstable and goes from hot to cold all the time.

The accessibility of the beach is the biggest asset of the hotel. In a matter of minutes the beach is at your disposal and you don't have to think of where to park your car or where to swim.

The biggest downside of the beach is that there are no showers 😕 Beach-goers need to take a shower despite the refreshing lake

Terrible !

The young lady working at the reception was very nice . And the dinner waiter was great at his job.

The male receptionist was terrible and inconsiderate not knowing what to do and telling me well no one else complained! Unclean rooms Leaking toilets No hot water Smell of smoke everywhere even places where sign for no smoking. Carpet smelled Fridge not working

Good place, comfortable.

I have one complain though. At the reception desk, the receptionist took my ID card. After two nights I check out, go some 300 km to the border and I realize that during cheek out, my ID was not given back to me. I had to return to the hotel and this way spend half a day traveling worth less. I do not why they need ID/Passport original, why not copying it. 😖😖😖

Good value for money for an end of summer sunny break. The lake is amazing! Conference facilities were good.

Due to it being end of season, not all facilities were fully functional (e.g. beach bars etc.). Hotel is 7km from Ohrid town, so need a taxi to get there.
