Not the SPA hotel you thing your getting with paying a premium price
The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Well equipped. The spa was good overall. Breakfast also good.
Reception behaviour was stressful, trying to blame me for their mistakes in communication. In the end it was all sorted out, but what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend, started with a lot of uneccessary stress. The restaurant was very cold, barely any heating, we had to wait 2 hours to get a set menu and the food quality/quantity was pathetic. The breakfast room was also cold, and so was the treatment room!!!

Perfect relaxation
- The spa facilities are awesome, and they are included in the price for 2 days (you can come early and stay late the next day, they give you a locker, and there are showers and changing rooms). You also get a spa package (robe, slippers and a towel). This is great value for money - The place was not too busy, and there is a very relaxed and nice sphere, lots of places to just chill The room is large, and the bathroom is very nice. There is also a minibar with a complimentary water bottle. - The room was very clean and smelled nice. -The bed was very comfy for me, but too soft for my partner - Breakfast is good and there is enough variety - Parking in front of the hotel - We also took the lunch offered; it was really worth it. We especially liked the grand dessert buffet - I've never seen anything like it! - The staff was very friendly and they spoke English (some spoke Dutch as well) - The look and feel of the place, it's simply a nice location to have a few relaxing days and rejuvenate - We arrived way before check in time, and since our room was available we were able to get the room earlier than we thought. Thanks for that! It was very nice. I wish we had booked two nights. I didn't want to leave. We'll be back for sure!
- Dinner! It's our second time at this hotel. Last time, we had the proper dinner offered by the hotel; it was quite pricy, and since I'm vegetarian, I felt it was not a good deal (no choice menu; I didn't really like the dishes served). The dinner was also quite heavy, so his time we decided to take room service instead. It was a good plan, however, when arriving, we discovered that room service is served only after 21:00 which is a bit late. After ordering, we were told that it would not arrive before 22:00. No matter. Then we were called that it'll be 22:30. Our dinner arrived after 23:00 (without further notice from the team). We were hungry and upset and even though we flagged this to the team, nothing was done or offered. The food served for room service tasted like a deep freeze dish from the supermarket. This was a complete disappointment. Next time around, we'll eat out. - Be aware that the Spa area can be very, very slippery (we saw quite a few almost accidents!), and it is recommended to bring your own non-slip bath shoes.

Charmed. Will become regulars.
The premises where virtually brand new and spotless, even though this hotel is an historical setting.There is modern, tasteful design everywhere you look. Every facility was available, clean and functioning. We got charmed forever. The treatments real effective and restful, even fun, like a spa attraction park. At first we didn’t want to get the dinner menu but, as we finally did we realized that it would be a terrible loss: it was close to heavenly. The buffet lunch was great French cuisine. The breakfast pretty standard but great product quality. The location beautiful in nature and ambiance.
A better command of English would be appreciated.We understand that the clientele is quite local, but this is (or could be) a much more international destination. Nevertheless, the service was spotless and kind.

Great break to fully recharge, even on my departure day I was fully able to use the SPA. All facilities are excellent and it feels great to be at such wonderful place, settled in nature.
