Anyone else but the owner should sleep there

Nothing. Never experienced to stay in such a poor place as this was. I've booked 2 nights, I've left after 1 night

Dirty, moldy, with ants coming from a gap by the bathroom door, beetles, random old items put around with no sense. Support for shower head was broken, uncomfy bed, moldy shower box, dusty, old smelly wardrobes. In general, it's a dirty place. we've found hair by the kitchen, on the floor. Dirty fridge and microwave. We've found random towels& linen, they cannot even organise a proper clean white set of linen but just random stuff taken here and there. Room was by the main entrance door and on the ground floor, so impossible to sleep there, cause of loudness coming from people walking past, on the road and due also to other guests coming and going, opening and closing a metal gate and doors. I've tried to contact them, when still there, trying to find a solution first. No reaction. I informed them that we would have checked out one day before, due to the situation I've described before and again, no answer. They only got back to me with automatic answers, including a ridiculous last one, on which they were asking me to eventually rate them with a10/10, if my stay was fine.

Close to the city centre. The room was there and was not ugly.

Where should I even start... The air conditioning was smelling so bad, we put it on once and turned off a few moments later because of the smell. The room is in a loud neighbourhood, there are men shouting at night or playing loud music. There was an ant infestation in the room, so we couldn't leave ANYTHING on the table, including a breadcrumb or a single grain of sugar cause that lead to loads of ants gathering around. The worst part - we found an ALIVE COCKROACH under the coffee machine, just as if no one moved it to clean the counter. We messaged the owner about the issue and we got no reply from them. I'll admit we probably got the worst room, as it was on the ground level just next to the street but come on... This is not an excuse for our experience.

This appartment was very cozy, close to the city center and ideal for a few days long stay. We had everything we needed, and we appretiate the beautiful decorations in the house.

The appartment was small, not ideal for longer visits. It was a little noisy at the street, but not that much. But considering the price, it was great.

There was strange smell of mold in the apartment. It is on the ground floor, literally on the street, so you hear everything happening there. It is a spooky area with some strange people walking around. On top of that there was no hot water. I would not recommend this apartment.

The location was central. The facilities were abundant. Good value for the price.

The duvet had no cover and did not look clean! There was only a clean linen under the duvet and we ended up not using the duvet!

Fun happening place !

Great Location for exploring Malaga. You can walk to the port, the castle, the Picasso Museum - which we loved ! We were there pre-Christmas and the atmosphere in the streets was incredible ! I have never seen Such street lights! and We just happened to be in Calle Larios in time for the Christmas street light show ! What Fun ! Lights, dancing, and just a fantastic atmosphere. We then walked on further and a came across the Cathedral and then to our surprise a projected musical show started with the Cathedral as the screen ! Malaga is just so vibrant, always something happening, restaurants great and the people so cheerful ! We stayed in the old part since it was December and the beaches did not appeal. Just a fun happening place ! The apartment was a surprise since we were 3 and thought there was only one bedroom and that we would all have to be sharing the same room. But my son could have his own separate sleeping area, and good wifi, so he was happy ! and our bedroom was in an open plan kitchen area, not huge, but comforatble enough, it had a little dining table and we were happy. It is very reasonably priced and so central.

Parking. You have to pay extra, but well worth it ! I realise parking in any old central historical Spanish city is hard, so it was handy to have parking nearby, you just have to pay, so factor that in to your budget. It was pretty reasonable considering how cheap the accommodation was.

The location is a bit not safe enough for single ladies because there are often some guys gathering around there but for couples it's no problem. I adore the decoration inside and the apartment owner is very nice to us when we asked for keeping our luggages after checking out. The room is very clean and wide enough for opening our suitcases. The equipments are very complete and the owner even offers free drinks and wine in the fridge. Anyway, the experience here is out of my expectation, recommend it!

Clean, quiet and part of the local community

The first impression was C.Jara Street with flowering pots all along - beautifully maintained and very welcoming. The friendly hostess meet us with the key and showed us all the amenities. The room was perfect for our two nights in Malaga. The main tourist centre was a 10-15 minute walk which was bustling. I felt we could have easily stayed in the local area, children playing in the square opposite the local church and there were many places to eat and drink and had more of a local community feel to it and you therefore had more opportunity to talk to people living in Malaga. I loved it and would definitely book this property again

It was great.

The apartments are located very close to the city center. it takes only 10 minutes to get there, and about 20 minutes to get to the beach. It is very clean and thoughtfully arranged.The apartment has everything you need to feel comfortable - well equipped kitchen, spices, tea, oil, vinegar and coffee. You can find some complementary drinks in the fridge - water, wine and soda. The building is amazing and the inside yard as well as the street in front of the place is full of plants. The AC worked vary well. We were allowed to leave our bags prior to the check in. the hostess was extremely polite and helpful. You can find all the important information in your room - maps, Wi-Fi password and taxi telephone numbers. We called the number and were able to book a taxi to the airport for the next morning. The tv has Netflix so you can log into your account and enjoy it.

As other people mentioned, the neighbors are a bit problematic. It seems that the owners of the apartments can’t do much. People gather in the street, listen to music, speak very loudly, dance and sing. It all happens all day and at night. Children play in the middle of the night. I believe it is safe, but sleeping and resting can be a bit difficult. We met one of the neighbors at 5 o’clock in the morning when we left the apartment. He was very nice and helped us to get to the taxi.

Cleaniness , silent and location ( as advertised only 600 meters to downtown ) . Although at first location looks insafe area but when get to know the area , is safe . However, late evening or early morning always take a taxi and taxi driver stay until you get to the house pay taxi driver extra) or otherwise you are 3-4 people . Place is about 250 meters from Hotel Malaga Center ( 4 star ) but as place is located in alkey that card can not drive infront of the place , very late evening or early morning be careful ; this is not only for this apartment , all places in MALGA in Alley with limited direct access to cars , are sane except if you are on heart of downtown !!

Place is in Alley with limited access to street which car can not drive in Alley . Also if have heavy luggages, place does not elevator and narrow stairs!

Beautiful place, safe, clean and good location.

Beautiful spot that’s close to nearby places you need to visit (walking distance). The room was spotless clean. The whole flat and outside of the flat was beautifully decorated. Bed was comfy. Good bathroom with good water pressure. Kitchen was handy if you wanted to cook. Room had air conditioning if you wanted it. Owner was very easy to contact.

Don’t book ground floor flat if you want a lot of natural light (that was our mistake).

Horrible area if you like to sleep at night.

The apartment was nice and clean and had everything you need.

The area was horrible, the first night I didn't get any sleep at all due til drunk people out on the street, yelling, fighting, shooting fireworks and playing loud music. All of my stay the local neighbors, mostly young guys, gathered on the street jus outside the apartment and they stayed all day and night, drinking, smoking weed and yelling. As a solo travelling woman i didnt feel comfortable going out of the apartment in the evening because of drunks on the street. Every morning the street was filled with trash and empty beer cans from the nights shenanigans. There was a lot of homeless people in the area aswell and all in all I didn't feel like a safe place to stay. The 24hour English speaking reception was not existing.

Best place to stay close to the Malaga Center!

Fantastic place 10 min from the historic old town of Malaga. Artistic vibe in the part of the street belonging to the Tourist Hotel Apartments, rooms are modern, clean studios with everything one may need - bathroom had some utilities, fully prepared kitchen, comfortablle bed, TV with Netflix, AC and sun curtains in the window. Having travelled substantially in the last years this place is officialy on our "Top of the top" list of accomodations we used. PS - the bottle of wine and some welcome bevarages were a treat and a super nice thing!

The only things I disliked are the things beyond the control of the owners. First of all the narrow street where the apartments are located is kinda splitted into two parts - nice, artistic and modern part where we were and... other one. The problem with the other one is that it is "occupied" by some locals who are very loud (almost whole night) and extremly dirty (trash literally everywhere). Just want to emphasize that it's very safe, it's just not enjoyable when you walk 2 steps out of apratment right into the torn packages from Burger King/Mc Don and everything flying around. Second part was that there was no free parking in the area - we managed to find one near the stadium (15 min of walk from the apartment) - both of those are totally out of owners hands and had absolutely no major impact on our grade.

Silent, clean and spacious

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and spacious (great for 2 or 3 people). It was an internal apartment and the windows were not facing the street what makes the place very silent and we were able to have good rest at night. The place was also very safe. The location was great and easy to go to center city walking (around 10-15min). There is also a great sea food restaurant one block from the apartment. We had a great stay there and I would tottaly come back.

As it was holiday, there was people during the day and night drinking and smoking on the street next to the building - what makes you feel not so safe when walking on street. The place itself was well closed and was safe.

The fact that the apartment is at street level means there is a lot of noise from the street. There were always a bunch of guys drinking across the street shouting until 3am in the morning which made me feel a bit unsecure as sometimes they were trying to watch inside.

Malaga stay at Tha Apartment

The room was good and it had all the amenities needed for a person to stay for more than a week.. very close to the city center.. just 10 mins walk.. and the apartment being in the alleys one can easily get a mild taste of Andalusian environment... The host was friendly and responded to within 30 mins for each query i had.. she was not fluent in English but did everything in her power to make me comfortable...

It was just a 2 night stay for me.. so nothing that I could complain about. One suggestion though It would however be nice if the owner can place a mark in Google Maps so that it can be easily searched for otherwise it was difficult to find the place via booking.com.

Our stay was spectacular. The apartment is very clean, organized, comfortable. The entrance is super colorful. A quick walk to the historic center.

At the end of the day the locals make a little noise in the street. But the windows are double, which minimizes the noise a little.
