Unfortunately not very clean

I'm really sorry I can't give our stay a higher rating. Brian is a great guy and really went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. He gave us tons of tips and even made a restaurant reservation for us. Our room was huge, but unfortunately not very clean. The bin in the bathroom still contained toiletries from the previous guests, the floor was dirty, and the carpet smelled of dog. Unfortunately, the credit card payment machine didn't work, we were forced to walk to the nearest ATM. The breakfast was okay, but if you're expecting a cooked Irish breakfast, you'll be disappointed. The pictures in previous reviews are a bit misleading. If cleanliness isn't that important to you, you can get a room in a good location with parking right in front of the building.

Fabulous perfect little get away

The property is fabulous literally 2 min walk to centre the property is fabulous so clean and everything there that we needed. We are already planning another stay. The host was so friendly also

Brian was probably the best host that we have ever had. Cannot say enough good about him.

Brian was an absolutely outstanding host. He was very helpful and at and attentive. He carried our luggage up to the second floor and back down. He is very knowledgeable of the Borana area and was able to point out things to do and when to do them. He made reservations for us for dinner. I can’t think of anything else that he could’ve done better. Just an excellent host and person.

Good location. Car park in the premises. Quiet.

We stayed in the apartment. It wasn’t ready when we arrived (8:30pm). Cutlery wasn’t really clean. Missing lots of details in the bathroom (hair dryer, bath mat, hand soap, something for hanging towels/leave stuff in there). The fridge was off when we arrived. It should be on to have it already cold. No sense to have it off and waiting for it to get cold if you bring your food. Card machine “broken”. To sum up, we wouldn’t recommend the apartment. Can’t say anything about the rooms in the main building.

The host Brian was very nice and friendly...but what let us down was the breakfast...no hot breakfast was available which was very disappointing...the cold buffet was basic and bland... cleanliness was deffo not 5 ⭐...dust all over our room ...a hole in the wall..we were supposed to have a garden view 😭... disappointing also(pics attached)..the en suite shower room was very very small but done the job... basically it was a room with a shower...bed wasn't very comfortable...sheets could have been fresher...the rooms wer definitely not soundproof...a lot of noise from the outside...no Aircon in the room...apart from the large window...which helped...all in all it was basic 😳😳..I'm afraid I wouldn't go back and I would only give it 2⭐...at most ...

Buncrana is a lovely town and the B & B is centrally located to pubs.

It’s in a nice location and Brian was a good host. The room was beautiful and quite large.

We paid more than was quoted as the price on booking.com. We were told when we checked out that the price didn’t include breakfast so we were charged an additional 40 euros. We don’t typically eat breakfast, so had we been told when we checked in there would be an additional charge, we would have likely opted out. However, in the grand scheme of things, it’s more of an annoyance and not something that ruined our trip.

Humorous Hard Working Irish Proprietor and a Big Bed.

We enjoyed Brian the proprietor. He was everywhere and did everything. The room had high ceilings and a very nice large bed with clean linens. We were happy to see they had eggs and Nespresso at breakfast. What made it fun was Brian and his cheerful Irish humor.

We had to go find tp, and a missing light bulb for one of the bedside lamps and the lamp shades were dusty. Also the bathroom was cramped with the sink very very close to the toilet. (At least there WAS an en suite.) Also, the room's window over looked the back parking and the green behind that and was a bit noisy with kids playing and some emt guys hanging out talking. But that's because we turn in early, I guess.

Room hadn’t clearly been vacuumed and washed in a long time buildup of dirt on door handles and windows plus urine stains around the toilet sink unclean .Beautiful chandeliers extremely dusty and dirty throughout .The property has separate apartments at the rear of main property daughter and partner had to cancel their stay due to also not been cleaned plus found infestation in the bed

It is a great location , right in the center of town. . The breakfast was good. Bryan is an easy going friendly host and he even drove me to my destination. I loved the cozy bed. I recommend the place.

Fabulous stay on our tour of the Wild Atlantic Way!

Lovely big house close to the beaches and town centre. Our host Brian was most informative and not only did he produce pamphlets and maps of things to see and do in the area, he also booked us a table for dinner at a fabulous Indian/Nepalese restaurant.

There’s nothing we didn’t like about the property - it was stunning. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property with some lovely features and fittings. Easy to park and a very short walk into town for pubs, cafes and the lovely Swan Park and shore. Brian, our host, was a friendly, warm man with lots of local knowledge. We loved it and hope to return next year…this part of Ireland is beautiful.
