A good hotel with a fantastic hand-made breakfast!

Super-super breakfast! A lot of different hand-made cakes, sweets, croissants and other delicious food, I'd like to come back just for the fantastic breakfast!

The rooms are good, the aisles are a little old but ok.

Pleasant hotel for a few days

The hotel was very nice with a great pool for relaxing. Just a short journey from Trieste airport. There are a couple of nice restaurants in the village, nothing else though.

Taxi from the airport was difficult, very few taxi's in operation so had to wait a while.

A great hotel for a short stay

We were there as a group, some rooms were better than the others, I had a better one where the air-conditioning was working properly. The staff was friendly and helpful, the prices for additional drinks etc. are fair, the pool is clean and the bathrooms are clean and comfortable (big bathrooms).

The room itself could be cleaner, I dropped something under the bed and it was full of dust and dirt when I picked it up. The mattress are not very comfortable.

Very helpful staff. The restaurant co-located with the hotel was very handy. Very comfortable (we had arrived on bicycles in pouring rain and were soaked). Perfect stop off after a challenging day's cycling.

Terrible. Stay away.

Nothing

Dirty, not vaccum cleaned. Not cleaned spider webs. Very shabby. Smells like nursing home. Very poor breakfast. Dining room is too tight and crowdy. Swimming pool too small and cold. It is embarassing for 4* to not have scrambled eggs… Blankets looks like 40y old, pillows are thin like a pancake… Charging 180€ for this and presenting property with 4* feels like robbery. It is worse then all my 3* experiance

Surrounding and the restaurant was really good. Also the people in the restaurant were very kind. Food was great.

The pool was closed and there was no notification during booking. The breakfast was really poor for Italian standarts. The hotel.interior is quiete old , there are very less people working. When you come for check in there was nobody etc. But people who was serving us very nice and kind. Also in the room, air condition, refrigirator, phone was not working. When we asked why it is not, they said technician will come on Monday. Why would you than open the hotel with half things missing.

Position and price/quality ratio are good. Swimming pool is good. Rooms are ok; bathroom is relatively spacious.

Staff was a bit overtired when we were there. Breakfast is rather bad, but maybe it's because of COVID. The buffet offering is very weak. They asked extra to cook some scrambled eggs.

Delicious and rich breakfast. Nice room. Good and high quallithy hotel's restaurant. Plenty of parking. Green neighbourhood, fresh in summer. Nice pool in the yard.

Restaurant is not cheap, very slow service there. Might be overcrowded especially when sitting inside. Location is slightly noisy, busy road beside. Plenty of moscitos.

Hotel Al Ponte disappointing experience

Communication with hotel was unexpectedly bad. We had chosen the option Duble bed during our reservation and we had marked arrival time at the hotel 11:00 to 12:00. Both points marked on the reservation process. We had 24 hrs to cancel or change our reservation. But during this period we did not have any response from the hotel side. But after the free cancellation period was just over we received the hotel’s comments on both points we have mentioned in our reservation. Well both were negative. We were given single beds. And in short sentence in pure Italian language we were inform once again for the check in time hour 14:00. And that it was! Not willing at least to offer to leave our bags earlier or whatever. And all this once we were not able to cancel without a fee. I highly do not recommend the hotel. The room was ok but sensed old. The bathroom door was only opening as 40 cm top. And no shampoo or body wash available. Only soap included in the price.
