House rental on Lake Maggiore in the Lakes region of Italy

Located on the shore of Lake Maggiore, Casa del Lago can sleep up to six guests in four bedrooms (only a child of 6 is accepted as the 6th person). This private lakeshore cottage is located in a scenic and glamorous setting. The residence has its own mooring and beach. The charming L-shaped villa has two wings connected by a common courtyard. One wing is for the owner (a friendly and nice lady). Peace and privacy are a guarantee. A well behaved pet is welcome. Spacious and manicured gardens lead to the lake and mooring, as well as outside lawn furniture for al fresco dining.GROUND FLOOR: Sitting room with billiard table, Satellite TV), fireplace and large, arched French doors leading to the garden; dining area and dine-in-kitchen with direct access to the garden; Single bedroom (200x100) with adjacent bathroom (small shower, the pink marble bath is just a décor). Master bedroom suite with 2 single beds (195x90) that can be joined and an ensuite full bathroom (large shower). This bedroom is accessed both through the foregoing single bedroom and directly from the outside. The windows of this bedroom are equipped with mosquito nets; single bedroom with direct access to the bathroom (shower and large marble bathtub); a double bedroom is located in a loft opening off of the single bedroom. If required an extra single bedroom suitable for a child is available on the same floor (three children allowed maximum and only a child up to 8 years old is accepted as a 6th person); Arched French doors lead from outside into a very large sitting room with sofas, billiard table at its center, fireplace and TV. On the right, there\'s the dining room and a well-equipped kitchen (dishwasher) opening towards the garden where there’s also a covered dining area (gazebo) and a solarium. On the left, there’s the access to the sleeping area developing on main level and loft. Down at the lake (near the dock area) there’s a corner equipped with beach umbrella, table, chairs, deck chairs.Tastefully and carefully decorated, La Casa del Arcate is perfect for a romantic holiday on the shores of Lake Maggoire.There is a sports club with 3 tennis courts and Olympic-size pool (10 min. walk) which guests may use for a daily or weekly rate. The beach is 50 meters from the villa. There are also 2 golf courses within 10-15 min. by car and 7 more within 45 min. The ferry to the other beautiful lake resort towns and islands docks at Belgirate just 10 minutes away on foot. There is a pedestrian route behind the villa that offers a panoramic view of Lake Maggiore and leads (5 min.) to the nearby town of Lesa. In Lesa, you can find grocery shops and restaurants, also you can take out delicious meals from nearby Rapanello Restaurant. Daytrips to Milan, the main city of northern Italy, located in the plains of Lombardy is a great way to spend some time. In the church Santa Maria delle Grazie, in Milan, can be found one of the most famous paintings of Leonardo da Vinci: The Last Supper. Milan also offers great restaurants, shops, and is one of the most important centers in the world for Opera.
