A Pearl at Lake Maggiore

A bit disappointed given the money we spent. Clean, but no sense of warmth from staff.

The property is in a great location, lovely views, very clean and regularly serviced. The apartment was nicely furnished.

The bed was quite uncomfortable for us. Very hard mattress. There was a lack of warmth and friendliness. The staff at the cafe where breakfast is served seem hurried and stressed and not focused on the people who stay at the apartments who are tucked away in the back room. More interested in people who walk in off the street. Menu was very limited.

great stay, clean, comfy, great location and beautiful town!

great location, super clean and modern. Had A/C which was needed because it was hot. We didn't;t realize that the cafe at the hotel is closed on Wednesday (we arrived Tuesday) but the hosts brought us a lovely basket of breakfast goodies including orange juice, yogurt and granola, pastries, jelly, honey and Nutella. We also had a bottle of wine upon our arrival.

We loved our stay for one night. If we had stayed longer, we would have loved a room with the view of the lake! Our room was in the back.

A great place to base yourself to explore Lake Maggiore.

The view from our balcony was fantastic: great place for apertivi. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Located across from the ferry, so getting around was easy. Breakfast was delicious.

Lovely room, lovely breakfast, lovely stay, would definitely stay again!

My friends and I stayed here to attend a wedding, we booked the Triple Comfort Room. The room was a great size, lots of space, very clean, great bathroom/shower, little bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch after traveling for 12 hours! Great location, right on the main road across from the lake, less than a 5 minute walk to the main square/shops/bars/restaurants. Breakfast was lovely and adequate - coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice, a choice of different croissants (chocolate, pistachio, plain etc), and either yogurt/fruit/granola/honey or ham/cheese/bread. No problems with having more or having it as a take out. As we had the triple comfort room there was no 'view' as such, as right by the street so windows are covered with opaque curtains for privacy but let in enough light. This wasn't really an issue for us as we used the room as a base and the street look nice anyway! Other in the group had a room facing the lake with was lovely! Overall, lovely room, lovely breakfast, lovely stay, would definitely stay again!

The mattress was quite hard - but I guess that is personal preference, I like quite a soft mattress, although others in the group said the same thing. Our room was a little noisy due to it being across from a bar/directly above the street, but nothing overly disruptive. City tax - it is mentioned when booking that you will need to pay City Tax, however what isn't mentioned is that its whatever charge - it was £6 for us, PER NIGHT. For families, this cost is more (£9). This is fine, but it would have been good to know its the charge, per night, not a one off. ** PLUGS ** Obviously not the apartments fault, just a general thing - standard 'European' plug adapters with the two prongs will only fit in certain plugs (ours was in the bathroom), so we only had one plug which was a little annoying - you'll need a specific plug adapter for Italy. None of these things meant we didn't enjoy our stay or were overly disruptive - just worth noting :)

Beautiful Lake Maggiore a secret gem.

The location is fantastic. We had a room that overlooked the lake. The ferries and water taxis left from across the road. Lots of great restaurants in the township behind the hotel. Beautiful and not too many tourists. Rooms are very sparsely furnished, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the cafe downstairs which was fine. Great freshly squeezed orange juice.

Mornings were bright so I would suggest you bring eye masks otherwise you’ll be awake at dawn as the curtains were not in any way block out. We think a safe would also be a good addition to the room.

Well located apartment

The property was clean and well located. The view of the lake is wonderful and rivals other more expensive properties we have stayed at. The cafe downstairs is adorable.There is free parking on the streets, but it is stressful to find them. Also be noted that driving to the actual address of the suites may be stressful because to turn around it requires you to drive down many tiny streets so be aware in advance.

The beds were very hard. And no extra pillows were available. Air-conditioning is not available to the warmer months, but that wind up being OK because it was quite cold at night so we slept with the doors open.

Excelente opção de suíte com café da manhã em Stresa!

A localização é excelente, na beira do lago, perto de tudo a pé. O acesso de carro pela rua lateral facilita a descarga das malas, próximo da entrada da suíte. Após descarregar as malas, não é difícil encontrar um estacionamento público próximo (em fevereiro). Todas as orientações foram enviadas previamente e com clareza. A comunicação foi muito fácil e rápida por WhatsApp para tirar dúvidas. O quarto era agradável, confortável e limpo, com ar-condicionado, luzes de leitura e sofá-cama em área separada do quarto. Frigobar, chaleira elétrica, um vinho cortesia com taças já disponíveis. O banheiro espaçoso, bonito e com ótimos produtos para uso. Uma vantagem é que as suítes estão ligadas à pasticeria e ao restaurante Gigi Bar, que oferece excelentes opções (comida, lanches, café) durante todo o dia. E há uma área específica da pasticeria onde o café da manhã é servido. Apesar de limitado (você deve escolher 1 tipo de café, 1 opção salgada e 1 opção doce), a qualidade dos produtos era excelente (frios e queijos, croissants deliciosos), e a quantidade era bem servida.

O secador de cabelo não era bom, não esquentava, mas creio que a pedido a acomodação forneça outro melhor, especialmente para mais estadias.

Appartamento bello e comodo ma...

Il piccolo appartamento dove ho alloggiato è ben strutturato, caldo in inverno e con 2 condizionatori per l'estate. Il letto è molto comodo. La pulizia è veramente perfetta.

Devo però dire che in doccia si tende a scivolare. Inoltre, per arrivare nell'appartamento ci sono tre porte senza chiavi e con un codice che si ripete per tutte e tre. Se però non si spinge leggermente la porta subito al termine del codice, questa non si apre... Se nessuno lo segnala (non c'è accoglienza all'arrivo e tutte le indicazioni sono via wathsapp) ci va un po' per capirlo. La colazione è semplice, nella media.

Petit dejeuner au top, Localisation au top

Petit déjeuner en chambre le mercredi matin (jour de fermeture hebdomadaire du bar), le panier est bien garni avec des produits de qualité comme jambon, fromage, yaourt, musli et muffin au chocolat. A notre demande, on nous a également fourni un litre de lait pour les enfants. Les autres jours, le petit dejeuner a lieu au bar de l'hotel, produits excellents, service agréable, bref, parfait ! La communication etait tres facile (et en français) nous etions dans l'appartement qui donne sur la place de l'église, la vue n'est pas exceptionnelle mais pas désagreable non plus. depuis le balcon, on a un morceau de vue du lac ! Point de vue literie, lit double de la chambre très grand et très confortable ! Clic clac dans le salon largement acceptable (moins confortable que le lit double evidemment, c'est un clic clac, mais on y dort sans problème). Parking gratuit a 200m, pas de probleme pour trouver des places (en semaine en octobre)

La cuisine est equipée avec le strict minimum et il manque quelques assiettes/couverts/verres ainsi que quelques ustensiles (une rape à parmesan, par exemple !) pour etre au top A noter, il y a de la vaisselle enfants f(assiettes à ventouse, verre en plastique) ce qui est une agréable surprise bien plaisante lorsque l'on voyage avec des enfants en bas age !

Zeer nette en schone kamers op een hele mooie centrale ligging. Tevens parking voor de deur!

De ligging en het contact met de host, deze reageerde heel snel. En de schoonheid van het appartement, ook dagelijkse schoonmaak. Alles was voorzien en heel schoon!

Het ontbijt was redelijk, personeel had het heel druk en gaf de indruk dat het teveel was dat wij er ook nog bijkwamen.

Ein sehr schönes Apartment in einer wunderschönen Gegend

Die Unterkunft liegt ideal in der Stadt und ist total praktisch, wenn man kein Auto hat und mit dem Zug oder Bus ankommt. Auch der Anleger der Fähren ist gleich da. Unter dem Apartment ist eine Bäckerei/Konditorei, wo man auch sein Frühstück bekommt. Ideal auch für den Besuch der Borromäischen Inseln. Der Blick aus dem Apartment ist direkt auf den See, sehr schön!!!! Das Städtchen Stresa ist noch Bella Italia pur! Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Die Straße vor dem Haus ist mitunter sehr laut, vor allem, wenn Gruppen von Motorradfahrern dort vorbeifahren.

Tolle Unterkunft in perfekter Lage, modern und schick eingerichtet, leider ohne Parkplatz

Tolle Lage, super moderne Ausstattung,

Verwirrender Aufzug, Licht geht aus und Tür geht zu wenn man 0-Level drückt…nichts für schwache nerven. Die Suche nach einem Parkplatz hat uns 40 Minuten gekostet, da der Ort zu wenig Parkflächen hat.

Die Lage ist wirklich toll, man ist sofort im Center und es ist dennoch nicht laut. Auch die Zimmer sind ansprechend.

Leider ist das Personal unfreundlich, nicht hilfsbereit, niemand ist eigentlich wirklich für die Hotelgäste zuständig. Man wird als Gast für blöd verkauft. Schade! Würde das Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen.

Die Lage und der tolle Blick auf den See - erste Reihe und ein riesiger Balkon 😍

Das Frühstück war gut, allerdings wartet man bis 30 Minuten für einen Cappuccino, Wasser, Croissant und Joghurt mit Früchten. Aufgefallen ist, dass die Hotelgäste NACH den anderen Besuchern bedient wurden. Das fanden wir schade, denn geschmacklich war es Mega gut 🤩.

Tolle Lage, modernes Zimmer und leckeres Frühstück!

Klimatisiertes, sehr geräumiges und modernes Zimmer mit großem Bad. Das Frühstück war super lecker, vor allem die Croissants! Die Lage ist perfekt, in wenigen Schritten ist man direkt im Zentrum von Stresa und am Hafen. Mittwochs hat das Cafe zu, weshalb einem ein kleines liebevolles Frühstücks-Set im Zimmer bereitgestellt wird.

Parkplätte sind leider nicht direkt am Hotel verfügbar, die kostenlosen sind meist besetzt, sodass man am Hafen gegen Gebühr Glück haben muss einen Platz zu finden. Der Fernseher hat leider nur italienische Programme und das Personal ist sehr nett und bemüht, spricht aber leider nicht wirklich gut Englisch. Der Code unserer Tür hat leider mehrmals nicht funktioniert. Nach mehreren Versuchen haben wir dann aber einen neuen bekommen, welcher dann auch funktionierte. Alles in allem aber nur Kleinigkeiten, die durch die Lage und die modernen Zimmer und Frühstück wieder wettgemacht werden!

Les petits déjeuners se prennent dans le bar de l’hôtel. Cependant celui-ci est fermé le mercredi et un panier avec des biscottes’ des céréales et un yaourt sont déposés dans la chambre le mardi soir. Le mercredi, il devrait y avoir un accord avec un autre bar ou pâtisserie, ou alors le bar de l’hôtel devrait être ouvert tous les jours. Les produits servis au bar pour les petits déjeuners sont frais et très bons. Le choix des produits pour le petit dejeuner de l’hôtel se limite à une liste. Au delà, les produits deviennent payants. Le petit dejeuner devrait être en option puisque le mercredi le bar est fermé. Le prix de la chambre est élevé. Le manque de parking

Un séjour exceptionnel et un service de qualité très réactif

Il manque quelques indications pour l’accès à l’hôtel quand le bar est fermé mais l’équipe est très réactive par message. Un service de qualité dans un hôtel refait neuf. Les chambres sont belles avec des matériaux de qualité et modernes . La salle de petit déjeuner et le bar sont magnifiques Petit déjeuner de qualité avec pâtisserie et viennoiseries au top .
