The location is a bit on the inner side, but it is alright. There are local food spots nearby and the mornings are calm. Some monkeys are there but nothing dangerous.
The bathroom is a bit tiny. It will be somewhat difficult for old people if there are any.

Ramesh uncle is welcoming and helpful at most times, always responsive on requests.
The cleaning staff is random, they'll bang your door and doorbell like there's no other day.

The cottage was beautiful, wooden ceiling and walls with attractive creative design, the bed was warm and comfortable and the hosts charming, respectful, discrete and very quick to follow up on any request! Location is central to pedestrian centre of Shimla, so there are no traffic noises. It has been a very happy week for me here and I'm grateful to find a beautiful, peaceful retreat for my final week in India with such kind, considerate hosts.
