We really enjoyed the view, hills, the bell tower and wine grape dinning area outside of the house.
The property was utterly dirty: spider webs under the sealing, doors around the door handles, curtains and surroundings were not clean. One of the vases outside were full of cigaret butts, some of those were found on the yard at the swimming pool.
We had a feeling that everything is a bit broken at the property. The coffee machine handle was torn off; a sliding door in one of the toilets were broken, so we couldn’t close it; sauna door was missing a rubber isolation, so you can’t heat it up properly; the curtain in one of the rooms were unglued and was laying on the floor when we arrived; we can’t open a balcony door, since it was broken; plaster and paint on the walls in some of the rooms fall off. Some of things and dirt were cleaned after our complaint. Thanks for that.
The kitchen is not equipped with a dishwasher, so when you have 8 people constantly at the property it is just an endless loop of dish washing. There was no single wine glass or wine opener, so we had to bring our own glasses. There was no soap, gel or shampoo provided. Since the villa is so remote it was really quite a trouble, since we didn’t have basic essentials even for washing our hands.
The cherry on the cake was garbage disposal. The garbage collection happens in a schedule meaning certain type of garbage is collected in a certain day. We are coming from Europe and in general accustomed to garbage sorting, but apparently in Italy it is brought to another level. The owners never clearly explain which bags we need to use. If trash is put to a wrong bag and a wrong container your garbage will not be disposed. So over two weeks we didn’t have any chance to dispose most of the garbage. We asked for help from the owners saying that seemingly the services didn’t collect our garbage because we did smth wrong or because they never arrived, which I suspect could be the case.

We stayed as a group of 7 people with 2 dogs, and the house was perfect in terms of space. With 4 bedrooms, a balcony, sauna, garden, BBQ, and even a pizza oven, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The coffee machines were a great bonus, and the location was close to everything we needed, including one of the best local restaurants just a short drive away. For those looking for a genuine local experience, this property really delivers.
The road leading to the house is very steep and narrow, suitable for just one car. Access through the village is especially tight, although you can take an alternative route via Giulia village with slightly longer but much easier access. Noise from the neighboring property can also be heard, and there were some hornets in the garden area during our stay. The biggest surprise for us was that there were no wine glasses at the house. Overall, this place is great value for money and highly recommended for a few days, but whether you will love it depends on your travel style—perfect for those wanting an authentic stay, less so for guests used to hotel standards.

Fantastic remote locality in the middle of an old village in Tuscan mountains. Fantastic, calm peaceful.. The pool, garden, terraces, and the whole genius loci are just wonderful. We had everything we need for a calm stay. The hosts are very helpful with anything you could possibly need.
This is not a critique - just a heads up. This is an old house in an old traditional village with a steep curvy road and extremely narrow streets. This comes with challenges. It's a rustic house so you can expect insects and some wear out. But we absolutely didn't mind - the place is so beautiful that we almost didn't notice this.

Perfect for this group of 5 friends: 4 bedrooms (3 of them with queen/king mattresses and 1 with 2 full-size beds). 3 full bathrooms (2 in the house, 1 in the sauna bungalow)-very modern and attractive.
Monia (bilingual English & Italian) and her husband were VERY accessible and catered to our every need. Friendly and efficient caretakers! The house had the heaters going before we arrived which is a very nice touch! That is not always the case with rentals. We REALLY appreciated that thoughtfulness.
The home is lovely with SO many different areas to sit and relax, outdoors AND indoors so everyone can be together or do their own thing. It is tranquil with beautiful views. Great fireplaces, places to hike, cozy kitchen, living room with adjoining nice-size terraza. SOooo much wood made available to us for no extra charge. (We all left a tip, though, anyway.) We will return in the warm weather for sure! Internet worked wonderfully. Lots of electrical outlets and adapters available. And, the sauna is a real bonus-modern, clearn, worked perfectly. Perfect place for our retreat, and maybe for yours!
It is winter time so it was quite cold outside. The fuse blew several times when we had all the electric wall heaters and 1 floor heater working simultaneously. So we just got more selective with which 2 heaters we turned off and we did not have any more problems.

Ticho, nádherné výhľady, atmosféra miesta a malej dedinky boli očarujúce .
