Everything. It is realy something special and authentic. The realy Toskany. Smels, the nature. The views. I loved it. My wife loved it. My kids loved it. The owner, Gioconda is very welcoming and we felt like at home.

The road was litle bit scary, but we get used to it. As in life in general, the harder you get somewhere, the feeling is beter and you apritiate it more. 😀

Exceptional

We went 4 nights in june 23 and we had a lovely stay. It is clean, breakfast is o.k., rustical and the pool is a really good value. To emphasize, at day it was truly hot due to nice weather but evenings are wonderful...no need for ac. Truly recommend this place. Signora Gioconda is really trying around guests. Also, has a wonderful colllection of wooden children toys. Our daughter did not want to get out of supermarket...

Just do it its lovely.

Wonderful location that we have stayed at many times. Me, wife and three kids had a lovely stay as always. Its a perfect base to either while away around the pool, trip into Barga or Lucca etc or over the mountain road from Castelnuovo to the coast (you must do this).

Relaxing, sun kissed, stunning and totally worth the money

We have stayed here before and its just stunning. This isn't high end this is basic, but the location and Gioconda are both Perfecto! The breakfasts a very nice and always enough for us. The rooms are large and reasonably equipped. The pool area is wonderful with views across the valley.

Not didn't like. Found challenging would be more accurate. The cooking facilities in the room are very basic and a challenge to anyone not confident, but you are able to boil water and fry if needed. There is an oven, but this is a stand alone unit and I didn't try and use it.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel

I liked the spacious apartment very much. Luciana came to Barga and guided me to the hotel, which was very kind of her! I had a very pleasant stay at nicely decorated hotel. The kitchenette was very handy and useful. The surrounding scenery is spectacular.

Beautiful and relaxing.

This was one of the nicest and most beautiful Agritourism stays that we have visited in several extended visits in Italy. The area is spectacular. And the swimming pool is clean refreshing and lovely. The rooms are surprisingly large as well. I highly recommend this to anyone would like to go hiking or simply enjoy the views in the Garfagnana. The hostess was wonderful, kind and helpful. Right after we arrived she made a reservation for us at a local restaurant which was truly out of this world. Go to “Bepe’s” if you love mushrooms. They ONLY serve dishes made from wild mushrooms! Be aware, however, at the road up to this hotel is extremely tiny. Do not try to Drive there with a large car or camper van.

Superb

Amazing place in the middle of mountains. We got really specious, clean apartment and had there everything what we needed. The view from the pool is amazing, all neighbourhood makes you don't wanna go anywhere else. I would gladly come back. Although it's not easy to get there and you have to be careful with your car to go through extremely narrow streets.

An excellent home and location and Giocondo is a fantastic and welcoming host. We loved it.

We found some cigarette ends in two of the ornamental cups on the dresser in the room. Not a big issue but not nice to find.

Très agréable pour sortir des sentiers battus

Le village de Tiglio basso est au bout du monde, pas facile d accès mais ensuite très calme avec un magnifique paysage Notre hôtesse Giaconda est très sympa et fait de délicieuses omelettes au petit déjeuner

Ein herrlicher Ort zum Erholen

Wir hatten zwei Wochen eine tolle Zeit bei Gioconda! Von Empfang bis Verabschiedung war alles immer sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie versteht es sehr gut, eine angenehm entspannte Atmosphäre zu vermitteln. Wir haben als große Familie die Gemeinschaftsküche, den Grillplatz und den Pizzaofen rege genutzt und auch den sehr schönen Essplatz im Hof. Bei Regen waren auch im Haus gute Möglichkeiten, sich aufzuhalten und Kinder zu beschäftigen. Ansonsten war natürlich der große Pool- Bereich das Highlight für alle Gäste. Alle Bereiche waren stets sehr ordentlich und gepflegt und zum Frühstück wurden wir üppig versorgt.

Bei der Anreise haben uns die Straßenschilder: Breite 1,80m bzw. 2,00m einigen Nervenkitzel verursacht, aber der Skoda Kodiaq passte dann jedes Mal besser durch

Un incontro felice ed interessante. Consigliatissimo

ottimo agriturismo, situato in posizione isolata, dunque molto trnaquilla, composto da antico edificio ristrutturato con cura e gusto; camere confortevoli e piscina con splendida vista. Ricca colazione servita dal simpatico Pietro. Gioconda, la proprietaria, è una persona appassionata e generosa, che conosce molto bene il territorio.

Vriendelijk personeel, uitzicht, zwembad, ruime kamer met eigen badkamer en gebruik van keuken

Matras was slecht, weinig ruimte voor je eigen kleding en spullen. Ontbijt was erg sober en 7 dagen hetzelfde.
