Casa Raffaella

Before we arrived in Italy someone from the property created a Whatsapp group with us and communicated instructions ahead of our arrival. As an added bonus, we were messaged to say that someone would meet us from Monopoli station and take us to the property. On arrival at the property we were shown round, given the right amount of information and then left to explore, simply superb. The property is perfect. We visited as a couple and with the serviced space downstairs with open plan kitchen/lounge it had all we needed. Upstairs has a lovely bedroom and bathroom with a fantastic shower. The aircon makes a welcome addition when visiting in July and the shutters mask all noise from outside. The CR is in a small alleyway just off the main street so is perfectly located for exploring as well as amenities. You have numerous restaurants, bars, sites of interest, gelato shops all within 2 minutes. The harbour is less than 5 mins walk away as is the impressive cathedral. Big shout out to the guy who collected us and took us back to the station in the golf buggy, really welcome addition with a big suitcase. Would 100% stay here again

Excellent location, clean and comfortable

Damp walls peeling away- understandable for age of the building but did make the place a bit stuffy and slight smell of mould

The house was beautiful, fully equipped and in a very convenient location almost in the middle of the historic center with all the restaurants and the bars in a walking distance. The staff was very helpful and polite, they found for us a parking space and drove us to the house with our luggage due to the fact that the house is located in the ZTL zone that only authorized cars can enter.

If I could find one negative thing about the house that was gonna be the humidity but even that wasn't a problem because the house had a dehumidifier.

Great location, good WIFI, comfortable bed. Clean. Nice neighborhood.

Need to be aware that you need to take quick showers or you may run out of hot water.
