Great for an overnight if you’re on a budget

We asked for some vegan options and they were ok, but not nearly as many options like the non-vegans. Have seen better at similar B&Bs.

Great place to stay while in Portoroz!

The lady who makes the breakfast is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is hundred times better than at the most hotels in USA. Definitely recommend staying at this hostel.

owner made us feel uncomfortable as two young women - he was looking us up and down every time we saw him! moldy AC, shower smelled badly, don‘t expect too much for breakfast - especially if you‘re veggie/vegan

Recommended.

Get off at bus stop number 10 (Lucia) if you go to the hostel by bus . The bus will stop at the opposite side of Hostel Soline. Free parking at the compound. The owner, Michael is friendly and helpful. Same bus stop (number 10) but at same side of the hostel will bring you to Piran at €1.30. The bus will stop outside Piran, it takes about 15 minutes walk to reach Tartini Square.

The shower head of shower room number 2 needed to be maintained, water flow is weak.

Location is superb, also nice that there is a terraced bar onsite.

The girl at the reception did not provide all relevant information during check-in and seem uninterested throughout our stay. Bathrooms/toilets were poorly kept at times.

A small hotel not far from the sea, with a very good breakfast included

A small hotel near the sea, the equipment is basic, but the rooms are air-conditioned and have their own sink. A big plus is a very good breakfast included in the price, in the cafeteria right in the hotel - salami, ham, cheese, fresh vegetables, fruit, eggs, yogurts, muesli, jam, croissants, coffee... The hotel also has a terrace for sitting. There are shops and a bus stop nearby.

Good for active people and going out.

The day receptionist was very smart and helpful. She helped us to organize our bus trip. The mountain bike offer is also good and a private Garden area to chill for guests.

If you want a good Night sleep, it is a bit hard because the walls are very thin. We had bad luck with noisy neighbors.

Do not stay here

The location is close to the "beach" of Portoroz.

We were really disappointed when staying here. The room was noisy. Staff was unfriendly and started shouting at us upon arrival, when we wanted to use the free parking space, as agreed beforehand. There were police raids most of the nights when we stayed, as drunken guests kept on shouting and rampling. We left earlier, having paid more than 100 EUR for a night in a room, which we then did not use. This is the first time ever that we left earlier, and we have stayed in many places around the world. The room is totally overprized, compared to what you get.

The possibility to rent bicycles, close to beaches, air conditionning in the room and flexibility on renting periods.

Matress were old and unconfortable, lamps were without covers, showers were smelling stagnant water and breakfast quality need improvement (jam and ham quality for example). It was far too expensive for the provided comfort.

Pleasant

It is very close to the beach, to supermarket, to bus stop, there is air conditioner in the rooms. The room had a nice balcony. There is hair drier in the bathroom. There is water tap in the room, but soap would be good too. Breakfast was good.

The floor was little bit dirty when we first step into the room. There was no private fridge, we could just put some drinks into the bar's fridge but no food. Breakfast is from 8-10, on the first day we went at 9 am and there was no more vegetables. There was no microwave for making hot water/tea/dinner or anything. Of course these things would not be surprise if we check in advance what is in the price and what is not. Parking is little bit chaotic because parking lot is very small, so if it is full then new cars can park behind parking cars, and if normally parked cars would like to get out they will call you to move your car so if you would be away you have to go back and look for another place. We were lucky to find a normal place!

Eine wunderbare Auszeitunserem Lieblingsort an der Adria

Das Hostel ist perfekt gelegen. Gefallen hat uns die tolle Atmosphäre. Es war wie ein Besuch bei Freunden. Das Team war jederzeit sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer (Doppelzimmer) war ruhig von der Straße weggelegen und die Räumlichkeiten (Wc’s sowie Duschen) waren direkt vor unserem Zimmer zugänglich. Das Frühstück war ein guter Start in den Tag und hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Wir bedanken uns für das kostenfreie WLAN, jedoch hätten wir uns gewünscht, dass es nicht so instabil gewesen wäre.
