Ardennes Woods, what a beautiful place to stay 🩷

We booked all three rooms for our family of 6. And this was perfect for us. What a great B&B to stay. We actually stayed too short, what a beautiful living room and garden we didn't use. At home we're spoiled with airco, here is no airco available, but the temperature was high and a ven was ready in our rooms! Philippe (the owner) was very flexible on our early arrival for a wedding.

Overall ok for one night

Nice room. It was not big but cosy. The B&B is located in the countryside, quite and authentic.

-The fruits at breakfast were not fresh. -The host was nice at first, but lost his temper all of a sudden just because we asked him if the tea he offered us on his own was free, after he wanted to charge us for it. - For a room with shared toilet the price was quite high.

The Ardenne Woods allows you to have a perfectly relaxing stay.

The owner was very nice and welcoming. Although I do not think he expected two young American travelers he was very accommodating. After traveling a very far distance the room and bed was incredibly comfortable and relaxing.

Superb

The elderly owner really friendly and - in a great way - talkative and welcoming. The breakfast was just fine, had it all (eggs, ham, marmelade, decent bread etc.), and I'm sure that, in such a country B&B, many guests would also very much appreciate and enjoy a greater emphasis on regional products, perhaps even organic ones.

Honest accommodation but expensive for what it is

Owners were polite and nice. There was a common garden and the location is very convenient.

We liked the location a lot and the fact that there was a garden to enjoy a drink/coffee. The host was very polite and welcoming. On the negative side, for that price (100€) one could possibly find rooms with private bathroom - in fact we didnt notice the bathroom was shared when booking the room. This was our fault so not a complaint, but be aware since it is not super obvious in the description. During the pandemic this is a bit concerning for us even though the owners kept it clean for the two days we were there. Breakfast was OK but could definitely be improved to include fresh local products or at least better quality than standard supermarket ones. The room and mattress were just fine for a couple of days.

De sfeer, ligging en niet als laatste Phillipe de gastheer.

We boekten zonder goed op te letten…..je deelt het sanitair met andere logees. Dat hebben wij bij voorkeur niet. Maar gaf geen hinder of iets dergelijks. Met andere gasten aan één tafel ontbijten leek vreemd maar gaf toch een leuke kennismaking!

De wc was buiten de kamer. Het is dat we alleen waren voor de nacht, anders toch lichtelijk awkward.
