Our room was generously sized, complete with a comfortable sitting area that made it easy to relax. It featured a dark, understated Japanese aesthetic that, rather than feeling gloomy, created a calm and elegant atmosphere. The same thoughtful design extended throughout the property, which included a beautifully appointed tea room and a cozy study room —both inviting spaces to unwind. Our one night stay is regrettably too limited to enjoy this little luxury.
I especially loved the yukata robes. Unlike the standard ones often provided at ryokans, these were surprisingly comfortable and even quite flattering.
One of the highlights was the selection of private onsens, allowing us to soak in the excellent hot spring waters at our own pace and in complete privacy.
Dinner was another memorable experience. Served at a leisurely pace, each delicious and delectable course arrived with impeccable timing, accompanied by warm, patient, and gracious hospitality that made the meal feel truly special.
