The host is making a false damage claim. There is no evidence that we caused any damage.I will try get my money back because this is not fair. I use booking soo many years and never have problem with nobody, I’m very disappointed she charge me.

Our stay was very stressful. During the stay, the host was not helpful when we reported problems. In addition, there was a serious lack of privacy: the host continuously monitored the guests, which created an unsafe and uncomfortable feeling. This had a significant negative impact on our stay. After checkout, the host accused us of damaging the refrigerator. This accusation is untrue. We did not cause any damage. The refrigerator was functioning normally during our stay or already had pre-existing issues that were not caused by us. We therefore fully dispute this damage claim.

Just wonderful !

Lovely apartment with everything you need. Clean room and small kitchen with fridge, coffee machine, electric kettle. Perfect place to stay for a week or more. There is also a larger kitchen downstairs for common use. Toilet and shower room is on every floor. Location is very good, quiet area but not far from the town center. The bus stop is just 3 minutes walk. The host is very kind, answered any questions and kept my luggage until the evening on the last day. You can get Bergbahn inklusive here, a card which allows you to take all mountain cable cars during your stay. Public transport is not included, but it is very easy to buy a ticket with the machine by credit card or Swiss Pass. How generous and practical, you do not have to buy ticket every time you go up to the mountains. It's great value, because not all holiday apartments join this system. I enjoyed my stay here and I'd love to come again. Thank you very much!

A convenient base to explore this magnificent area.

Beautiful view into the garden. Small kitchenette which allowed us to prepare simple meals. Be sure to ask for the Engiadina pass if staying during summer.

Room was cozy and equipped properly. Comfortable beds. All of the facilities were clean. Beautiful nature and great hiking trails nearby. We saw many ibex around at the beginning of June. We enjoyed our 3 night stay and would love to come back!

Great place to stay in Pontresina and to enjoy cross country skiing

We really enjoyed stay at Chesa Quadrella. Cross country skiing friendly. Great location and very nice & friendly owners. Toilets although shared, were super clean. Everything what is needed for pleasant stay.

Lovely and comfortable hotel in beautiful Pontresina with charming hosts.

Loved the hostess who was very friendly and kind. Good location for all activities in and around the area and 1 minute from bus stop. The room was perfect for a single traveller and the bed very comfortable. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

Seperate bathroom not prefered for having to get up in the night, but it was on the same floor, not busy and modern and clean.

A very good budget option

We elected for a budget option with a clean but small room and shared bathroom down the hall which was very clean and hardly shared. Self catering was more possible by using the kitchen facilities downstairs. Use of the washing machine was also much appreciated. Bus and train close by. The “mountain tracks” card provided allowed for free use of gondolas, chair lifts etc but this does not include ground transport ie bus or train.

Had a hot stove top to cook veggies- wonderful! Pleasant view from the window & walk 15 minutes from train station. Best thing was free funicular card for all the ones in area - used it at 3 of them. 2 nights had floor to myself so very quiet.

Room hot but could open window to get temperature desired. Was there early & no one responded to buzzer & no place to sit & wait. Had to go to another hotel to use their lobby for a couple of hours. I’m a light sleeper & 1 night other guests unlocking & locking doors to pad down hallway to rest room kept me awake.

Lovely place

This is the second year I stay in Chesa Quadrella. Locattion is perfect. Everything is extremely clean and tidy. You have everything you need in the kitchen. The size of the room is perfect. Very quiet and calm.You receive a card valid to pick up the ski lifts

The perfect room for a solo, budget conscious traveler to get a wonderful taste of the Swiss Alps.

The room was quite comfortable with a lovely view. I didn’t use the kitchen much, but it would certainly have served the purpose, and having a refrigerator was a big help. Above all, the hosts went out of their way to be gracious and hospitable. My top goal for the stay was finding/seeing some steinböck (ibex), and while I wasn’t successful this time, she pulled out a map and helped me find the most likely trail to hike for a possible glimpse for that time. Then I found out they actually hiked it themselves while I was there to see if there were any around. The included card to get on any of the lifts was a major bonus that made it a great value. It made it easy to decide to head up for another trail even when the weather was borderline, so I got to spend much more of the stay where I wanted (up the mountain). And for the bit of time I did spend in the room, the free WiFi was blazing fast.

Everything was perfect, bathrooms always clean, the host was very nice, room was as good as expected (we knew the room is small). We were satisfied and thank you for the present - card for cables, buses and so, it was very helpful! The hotel is closed to the city center, bus stop and everything you may need. You can hear other guest through the walls, but it was no problem.

The kitchenette was well equipped and great for preparing breakfast and lunch, and even dinner at the end of tiring day in the mountains. The inclusion of a public transport pass for the local region was a great bonus.

Great stay

Loved the location and the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the rooms and the wee kitchenette had everything needed for a short stay. We also booked the private bathroom and the shower was a joy! Great pressure and plenty of room, properly enclosed so no mopping up spillages as happens so often in hotels. The building also had a great common area with table tennis and other entertainment.
