CAYA Bijou im Herzen von Zermatt

Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Lage des Appartements, für uns war es der perfekte Ausgangspunkt. An Ausstattung und Komfort hat es uns auch an nichts gefehlt. Können das Appartement mit besten Gewissen weiter empfehlen.

Apartamentul spatios, o singura baie, o mica gradina unde puteai sta la masa pentru cafea sau pentru a lua masa. Noi nu prea ne-am bucurat de acest lucru, dat fiind ca a plouat, dar mi-a placut ca era o tufa frumoasa de liliac si boboci de bujori. De ssemenea o panorama frumoasa. Relatia cu personalul foarte buna, am primit informatii detaliate din timp.

Nu a fost nimic sa nu ne placa.. doar ne-a parut rau ca am gasit o pasarica moarta in gradina:(

It has a nice view of the matterhorn and the property is very clean with high tech stuffs you can find all around such as the audio system and the lights! It was also refreshing to have a tv that shows english channels so we can still catch up with news :) I also enjoyed watching their short films about the old zermatt. It is also well located by he heart of the Zermatt's little town, the stations, and even the Matterhorn museum! 🧡

Can't find the chopping board but this is very minor lol The place itself, the amenities, how conplete Luc'e instruction was- far outweights this little inconvenience

Being one of the "cheaper" places that you can get in Zermatt, it had everything you would need. You do not get a view of the Matterhorn, as expected, but you can just step a few steps outside. Using the elevator to get to the building made lugging skis and bags much easier. There is a fondue and raclette machine to use which is nice.

Please read if you are staying here. Communication with host was not ideal when throwing out the garbage. "Please dispose of the waste behind the main church or near the English chapel." #1 "behind the main church" does not mean behind the church when facing the entrance. The host means between the church and the Matterhorn near a restaurant called Du Pont. Beware, if you are carrying all your gear, this is not a short drop-off and is not on the way to the train station or Sunnegga ski lift. #2 The "English Chapel", which did not show up on my search, is actually (Kirche) St. Peter’s Honestly, the host should remove this task from the stay given its inconvenience. Although, I could have planned it more carefully by checking myself where exactly the bins would be located, the way the host wrote in the description made it sound like an easy drop-off. Unfortunately, this led to us losing an hour of our ski day each. I ended up leaving the garbage outside the host's "shop" near a Migros and an ice skating rink. The host was unable to clearly explain directions over the phone, as I walked all the way along the main street to the main station with all my gear, luggage, and this garbage bag. Only for him to realise he forgot to tell me his shop is not on the main street which led to backtracking and so on and so forth. I kindly request that for further guests, this is explained more clearly (exact coordinates), so others do not need to experience this confusion.
