Green Park Apartments

Absolute stunner of a place. A micro paradise outside of the bustle of Dubrovnik city. Accommodation can make or break your stay somewhere. After having a horrible experience with another host, my Green Park Apartments stay basically saved the trip. It was a place I *wanted* to come back to and enjoy rather than a place to avoid until absolutely necessary at the end of the day. I stayed in the downstairs one-bed ‘Superior One-Bedroom Apartment with Terrace’ which came with a small, private terraced area with dining table and chairs and a wooden sun lounger. With direct access to the garden, I was able to enjoy some peaceful moments when I needed a bit of rest. The garden is covered in flowers and has many trees to grab some shade under. I enjoyed an afternoon simply reading a book in the sunshine. There is attention to detail throughout, which gives a sense of safety and luxury. You feel settled and at home, like you’re being taken care of. The apartment was spacious and airy. Ridiculously good value for money when compared with other listings in the area. The bed I slept in was high quality and made for a great rest. Such a big deal! So many places don’t invest in a good bed. The host, Dragan, is communicative, polite, and considerate, as is the industrious cleaner. He was kind enough to allow me to store my luggage before check-in and offered to do so on my leaving day too. If I come back to Dubrovnik I’ll be coming back here again for sure.

The walk into town is about 30 mins at a very brisk pace. Great if you like a schlep, not ideal if you’re rushing or prefer shorter distances. I used Uber a couple of times when I couldn’t be bothered, and the fare was about €9.

The location was perfect. 25 minutes walk to either the Old Town or Lapad. A beautiful tranquil spot.

There wasn't anything to not like! However, if you have mobility issues the steps down to the property and up to the apartment may be a problem but that didn't affect me.

An oasis to escape from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik. Regular buses close by, supermarkets just across the road and stunning Bellevue beach just a short walk up the road. Super comfy bed!

Taxi drivers drop/pick up from the other side of the road. Look out for the Green Park Apartments sign on the footpath.

Beautiful garden. Location was convenient if you are mobile and able to walk. Good value.

Stairs down to location might be hard with bags for some people.
