Location was excellent, parking was free and available just outside. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was amazing, portions were so generous that we certainly didn't need to worry about having lunch. Dinner was also excellent, expertly prepared with a pleasing presentation. Our room was spacious with a lounge area and bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite was spotless. Mini bar included cold water & wine and there was a Nespresso coffee machine & pods.

The rooms were beautiful. The welcome and friendliness of the owners and Cyrus was great. The care taken with dietary problems was exceptional. Certainly would love to visit again.

We had a lovely stay at The Great House with a good dinner and breakfasts
We were disappointed that our room wasn’t serviced during our stay so dirty cups and glasses not cleared or tea/coffee/water replenished. We had expected that service at the minimum for the room charge
