A nice hotel but not secure.

Haus Bergkristall is located close to the center of town and a short walk to the lifts. The walk is not far but can be difficult if you have feet or knee pain from skiing. There is a bus stop nearby but it is not user friendly when it comes to getting to the lifts in a timely manner. The breakfast is fantastic. The hotel is clean.

Unfortunately we had ski equipment stolen out of the "secure" storage area. During our stay another guest also had their rental equipment taken by someone else. The secure storage area has a key pad with a code that changes weekly so it was someone with access to the secure storage area. The mangenet made no attempt to compensate us for having our equipment stolen from their "secure" facility. I would consider another hotel if you value the security of your equipment.

Overall good except for the sauna times

The breakfast was really good and the staff was super nice. The location was also very practical as you are close to the train station and the main lifts

The rooms are small and the sauna which is an advertised amenity is only open M/W/F between 4-7pm which is really not practical. Especially when you finish skiing at 4pm and stay out for a few drinks and food before coming home.

A fantastic stay with wonderful Austrian hospitality.

Cozy chalet that has simple and desirable amenities. Delicious breakfast. Great location.

Breakfast was nice, fresh, good service. Host/owner was incredibly lovely and accommodating especially for my late arrival due to my travel schedule. It was easy to get to, and integrate into the town. This was a quick stop over before making my way to meet with other friends.

I only wish sauna was still open upon my arrival! Nothing more to report. Thank you for the stay, will keep in mind for future!

Geweldig, warme gastvrouw en ongelofelijk kindvriendelijk!

Wij namen ons zoontje van 1,5j mee. Vooraf gaf Susi door dat we een kinderstoel en bedje konden gebruiken en dit dus niet moesten meenemen. Ter plaatse was er zelfs speelgoed, een waskussen, een luieremmer en speciale babyhanddoek voorzien. Ook wij werden goed verwend met een schitterend ontbijt. Gastvrouw Susi verwelkomde ons elke ochtend hartelijk en hielp ons aan de nodige info voor uitstapjes.

Wij lagen op het derde verdiep, zonder trap. Het was even sleuren om alle spullen naar boven te krijgen. De gastvrijheid maakte dit volledig goed. En we kregen een comfortabele plek voor onze buggy zodat we deze niet dagelijks naar boven moesten sleuren. Indien we volgend jaar zouden willen terugkomen werd ons spontaan een plekje op het gelijkvloers aangeboden.
